Kristin's 13 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Greeneville

We have a 13+ acre property that is partially wooded and often visited by deer and turkey. Our neighbors have cattle, chickens and goats as well as dogs that can sometimes be seen and heard from the property. Parking is on the property pretty much anywhere. We don’t have a driveway yet. Please don’t park in the gravel driveway next to the property as it belongs to the neighbors. You can access the back half near the electrical lines. If it’s rainy or has been, you may need 4 wheel drive. There’s also a seasonal, shallow creek that runs across the property lined with trees and brush. The property is unfenced and you’ll want to stay away from the barn. The creek supplies loads of muddy, digging fun if you’re up for the clean up afterward. Enjoy ALL the best sniffs ❤️

There are cats near the big open field, and if your pup likes to chase cats, then we'd ask that you kept your dog on a leash for the safety of our not-terribly-athletic cat. :) On the trails should be fine, but please make sure they're leashed in the parking area. Please note that it is possible that the neighbors dogs could make an appearance. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. :( There's a good chance you'll see other people around the property while you're here. We run a campground for visitors to Asheville and also have folks who live on the property.

Every so often our neighbor has their dog out in their fenced yard, and we do have a dog inside our house. We work from home... But you'll be able to pull up park on the drive and have access to the fence yard without disturbing us or our pet. If your dog likes to dig up a yard or flowers this is not the right property :( We have onsite parking. If your dog has mobility issues, this is a fully flat yard with a gate entrance. There's also steps up and down from the deck or you can sit and watch.

For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.
