55Needed a safe place to practice long leash walk with my reactive dog. This place was perfect, big and safe without any other dogs on site. I was able to practice and my dog enjoyed the walk. Sniffspot like this is so valuable for reactive dogs. The host, Jung, is always very kind. Just watch out for foxtails. Kim T.

55Great spot--the dogs loved it. Pretty views. Too bad the owners of this app got greedy and decided we have to pay a monthly fee on top of the bookings. That would be like Air B&B or Verbo making you pay a subscription fee just to use their app to find bookings. No way!Chad N.

55Beautiful open space for the dogs to run around! There were some foxtails, but that’s to be expected with natural open space. Lots of wildflowers this time of year. Highly recommend!Alyssa L.

55Big open space with lots of sniffs and things for dogs to explore! Some tall grass portions to jump thru, and some short clear grass paths to the edge of the property - goes back much further than you would expect. Host is very communicative and gave clear instructions. Gorgeous views of the gorge, and lots of pretty nature along the path. Great rural spot for dogs to run and stretch their legs - will be back! Thanks again! Rowen T.

55We had a lovely time today at the Dog Paradise in San Bernardino. It was a clear beautiful day and the views were awesome. Buddy and Maze had lots of fun though I think they were a bit overwhelmed at first. This visit was unlike anything they’ve experienced before. It was wild! The grass is tall and was wet from the morning dew, and the ground was muddy in areas. That was OK with us because we come from Victorville where everything is brown. Instead of playing ball, the dogs spent their time running through the fields, eating fresh grass and enjoying their play. We had an exciting time - Dog Paradise truly is a great SniffSpot. We’ll be back.Katie C.

55This is the largest place we've visited so far, and our dogs absolutely loved it! There was plenty of space for them to run and explore. The neighbor's side was fully fenced, and they briefly let their horse roam free, which was a new experience for our german sheperd. Tiny dog friendly as well, just keep in mind of large bushes. Also, from a very far distance we were able to see deer which was nice for us.Jovar W.

55Perfect place if you have a reactive dog that you would like to run free and enjoy nature! I took my dog and my neighbor’s pit bull who was in the shelter for 2 years before he adopted her. She is extremely reactive, but loves nature and I always want her to run off leash, but can’t allow her to at public dog parks or hiking because I am unsure of her reactivity. She had a blast and was extremely well behaved- I could tell she was grateful for the experience. My dogs didn’t want to leave. Owner was very nice and accommodating. Definitely will come back. 55If you have a reactive dog and you dread running into offleash dogs then this is a great spot for you! My dogs got to run free in nature without worrying about other people.
It is a rural spot so wear long pants and shoes, be prepared to bushwhack, and tick check your dog after. Lisa C.

FAQ About San Bernardino Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 6% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the San Bernardino area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 484 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 576 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
