55This was my first time using SniffSpot and I really enjoyed this space! My pup had fun running in the large meadow and walking around the little lake loop. It was clean and well cared for with toys and dog bags available. There are areas that are fenced off, as well as a few areas (back of lake loop, side trail that parallels the meadow) that there might be points a dog could get out of the spot if it wandered, but fortunately my dog has good recall so that was fine for me. And if you stayed in the meadow and most of lake, you wouldn’t have to worry. My pup had a blast and it was nice not to have to worry about letting him off leash and letting him roam! I appreciate so much the hosts opening their property for our pups to use. 🐶🤎Diana K.

My super active Vizsla had a wonderful time sprinting around and terrorizing the geese ! 😆 It was well worth the one hour trip from Frederick ! We will be back again, probably for a longer session. Wow! This place was incredible for my little dogs to have their first big run around in warmer weather. The host was attentive to my messages and it was truly the most fenced in space my pups have ever had the opportunity to gallop around in two of the three HUGE fenced in areas we had time for today. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
