55Despite reading all the comments, I did not think I would struggle like I did, so here's my attempt at directions:
When you pull down the driveway, stay to the left and park as you see fit at the top of the drive leading down towards the field.
To get to the creek, enter the pasture that's behind and to the left of the barn (if facing the pasture) - there is a wood flat being used there that you can easily move to enter that field. Then, walk maybe 10 yards in before turning to your left and you should see a horse path leading into the woods, that also leads to the water.
No idea if this is the best or only route or even if that pasture some times contains animals but that's what worked for me!Kelly N.

55Great spot! It was not super clear where to park (we assumed to drive down to barn) or which gate to use to get down to the creek. We went “off road” and then discovered the “trail” on our way back. Creek was awesome for our crew of 8 to chase each other and cool off and there was plenty of shade and gravel shore for the humans to be comfortable. We will definitely come back again! Jessica P.

55Creek romp was great fun. Will come again! That was our main purpose for visiting. To be able to splash and run in the water — without worrying about surprise, unknown dogs running up — was a HUGE treat.
Rail fencing is not sufficient containment for small or medium dogs (nor naughty larger ones), so if that gets upgraded at some point, we’ll be delighted and bring friends. Meanwhile, we used long lead and had a blast.
We want to thank Miguel for proactively putting the horse in the stall when he noticed we were having trouble exiting our vehicle. We had no idea our lad would flip out when he saw a horse up close! (Now we know. Another training goal.) Did not expect to see a friendly person walk up and work that magic for us. Appreciated!
Two suggestions for our kind hosts: (1) maybe place a wee Sniffspot sign by the mailbox on the main road & replace the missing address number; and (2) apply a few bits of flagging tape to direct people to the creek expeditiously.
For other visitors, definitely apply your bug juice & tuck pants into socks for the ticks; and watch out for poison ivy. Those are, of course, normal hazards in woody and high grass areas here at this time of year.
Hosts, thanks for a terrific afternoon! We will be back.

FAQ About Upper Marlboro Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
