Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Valley Springs, CA

This is one of my favorite places even though it’s a 50-minute drive. Easy access, always sufficiently mowed, water for dogs, table and bench under a giant oak tree for shade and rest, and this time the seasonal pond still had some water, and the dogs really enjoyed themselves. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time! Definitely a 10 out of 5 stars. It is clean and secure. We will be back!

If I could leave 10 stars I would. We had a perfect day today. I brought my one dog last time and he basically just walked around the property sniffing things. It was in autumn, the grass was short and dried as it is everywhere here in the fall and the pond was dry. It's springtime here and it was spectacular. I have two dogs, now, and they loved running through the tall green grass, and the wildflowers were so beautiful. I could tell my new pup was going to be a water dog on our leashed walks along our creek but I longed to take both dogs somewhere to run off leash and play in the water. The pond had the perfect amount of water and, boy, did she love it. My other dog did his wander around the 2 acres of fence lines and checked out any smells while she jumped and played and swam in the pond. I spent a good bit of time sitting at the table under the canopy of a big oak tree when I wasn't down at the pond. No people were around. No livestock or other dogs tempting my dogs at the fence. The property is secure and very clean. Perfect day. Oh, except I ran a little late leaving because my dogs wouldn't get in the truck to go home. I think they were ready to move in! Ha!

Our Sniffspot hosts are very communicative and helpful. This Sniffspot is particularly lovely at the moment as the grass is lush, and the pond is full, Loki loves taking a dip!

Very fun day with our German Shepherd. He had a blast lure chasing through the pond and around the field.

new to the area and had some complications come up before arrival so we were a bit late. but nonetheless the sniffspot was amazing! spacious, beautiful, and clean. the dogs loved it. thank you. will definitely be back frequently.

Big area for the dogs, quite and peaceful no sounds of cars, just the sound of nature. Our dogs loved it.

This was our first sniffspot and we absolutely loved it! It was an hour drive but definitely worth it. My girl is not ball driven but she loves to explore and run off leash which she doesn’t get to do very often. This was the perfect place for us. Will be back soon!

We made the trip from Sacramento and it was definitely worth it! The space was quiet, clean, and secure, with plenty of room to run and play.

Beautiful piece of land. Can pull right in to the fenced area and shut the gate before letting your pups out. Had a great time. Definitely will be back.

Great communication and a great space to spend an hour running and exploring! My husband and I had a little picnic under the tree while the girls ran and sniffed around. Our oldest just sat down and didn’t want to get back in the car when it was time to leave!

The area is really clean and open. It worked perfect for training and my pup had an absolute blast! I didn’t get very many pictures but she’s a small dog and the property is perfect at containing and I didn’t have any worries about her getting out.

The property was very clean. The host greeted us at the gate. There was water available, a bench and table in the shade. Safe, secure wire fencing all around. They have dogs and requested we text shortly before arrival so she could put the dogs up. We didn't see any dogs, livestock or people during our visit.

We had fun watching our dog chase the tennis ball on this cool, sunny day. The area was clean and trimmed well.

I love coming to this property because there is lots of space to run and sniff plus it is very well maintained (field is mowed very short so no problem with stickers.)

Thank you for allowing my puppers to roam and enjoy your spot. Great hosts. Good and communication. We love that it’s huge and plenty of space. My pups loved all the farm animals. Side notes…we know it’s huge so there were so many poop that may have not gotten picked up. Just had to watch we’re stepping. There’s a small chicken coop that housed little chickies and one of my pups was eagerly trying to get to so if you have high prey pups, you may have to put back the leash. We had to. LOL. Great place if you really want to tire out your pups mentally and physically.

Our dog loved walking around and investigating the huge property, meeting the hosts, and saying hello to all of the animals through their pens. The hosts were extremely welcoming, and the whole property is fenced in.

This is a great place with lots of space to run and lots of interesting and fun things to explore. My two mini-Aussies and I spent two hours there. The host was welcoming and accommodating. She showed us around and set up a kiddie pool for cooling off and drinking bucket with fresh water, which was much appreciated. The property was completely fenced and though my dogs picked up a few stickers, they were not a problem to remove. (Not sticky foxtails or burrs.) The horses, chickens, and goats were all securely penned but could be sniffed through the fence. It was a great experience for my suburban pups and well worth the hour drive to get there, so I’ll definitely go again.
