I was going to suggest the furled up edges of the chain link fence by the entrance (on enclosed side) should be bent back and re-secured with zip ties. However unlikely, it could get caught on a collar or choke chain. I always take my dog’s gear off (except for nylon collar) when he’s off and running or after walks etc, but not everyone does.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
