I reached out to her beforehand to see if there would be any dogs in sight, because Bugsie hasn’t been socialized and doesn’t exactly know how to react around other dogs. I rescued him a few months ago, so we are working on his reactivity. She was very honest and supportive. The space has ample room to run around! The trees allow for some much needed shade on the sunny days! She even provides chairs for you to sit down if you wish! It was a great space, and everything you need for your fur baby is provided! Cheryl greeted us for our first visit, gave us the lay of the land and off we went. The pups LOVED it. We did too !
We start and end our visit in the play area where there’s exercise/ obstacle structures and where we do a little agility training.
Our trail walks have been fantastic. There are different color markings (flags) that you can follow. We’ve done the yellow and green trails so far.
We highly recommend this spot. This has been the best spot we’ve visited thus far in the Innisfil area.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
