My dog loved running around her yard and we both breathed easy and felt secure, with no issues in the fence at any point along its perimeter. She respected our privacy as my dog is lovely but not very friendly. There were several seating options, on her porch and around the firepit, and overall a fun afternoon for my dog and a cozy time for me watching her run around! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
