This new spot is INCREDIBLE. Highly highly recommend for big dogs who love to run! 5 acres of fully fenced grass and wildflowers in a quiet country setting (that's only 15-20 easy minutes from downtown Winston). The hosts are super thoughtful - they provided new, clean water in a dog pool, a table with charis and an umbrella for shade, detailed instructrions/signage for arrival, and even brought out some cold water bottles. A few notes for folks wanting to head out here: 1) as the site instructions say, this is definitely best for bigger dogs - the gaps in the wire fencing are about 4 inches by 8 inches in places so a wiley small dog could wiggle through; 2) there's a chicken coop in the enclosure site, so some dogs might have a hard time focusing on *anything else*. But this is a dream spot, and will only get better as the weather cools. We'll be regulars for sure.

Today was our first visit to a Sniffspot and we had a wonderful time. The spot was easy to access, clean, well thought out and had shade with a table and chairs. Thank you for our two tuckered out pups! Awesome fenced in field, perfect for getting all the energy out & exploring. The bottles of water, table with umbrella and water for the dogs was a nice touch & very appreciated on a hot day. Would definitely visit again.

We absolutely LOVED this spot! My dog is very nervous in new places and takes time to warm up, but she found many comfy spots to enjoy. The yard is clean and well kept with more than enough space to run and sniff. My dog has never been around chickens but the coop was very secure and had a place for the chickens to move out of sight. There was access to water and even some shade for us to sit in. I was initially nervous about being somewhat close to a main road, but in the time we were there only 7 cars went by. The host was very responsive and made the spot feel secure and welcoming. One thing to note if your dog hates the heat like mine: there is limited shade in most of the field, but an umbrella and a couple of trees do help. It is the perfect place to work on recall or training in general with low distractions. We will absolutely be back!

Great to get back to this spot! Wonderful running in a beautiful setting. Perfect for medium sized dogs and/or non jumpers and the hosts are super thoughtful. Just a tip though - 1) smaller dogs could get out of the fence, and 2) here is a chicken coop with a window and door that aren't well secured - My dog got both the window and the door opened on the first try and had half his body in the coop before I got to him. Sooooo - you may want to double check/resecure the coop before you let your dogs off leash. That said, the space is large enough that we were able to play really happily on the other side and I could keep my dogs distracted in a way from the chicken coop. This is a great, great spot and I highly recommend!

We absolutely love this space! There’s endless room to play and sniff. It is such a quiet and peaceful area, even for humans. This visit we did hear dogs barking through the woods (the trees amplified the sound so they appeared much closer than they likely were) but that is beyond the control of the host. The fence is secure and there were no unexpected canine visitors. I have no doubt we will be back again and again!
