Taylor pond is a 5 acre pond located in the heart of Poway. The amenities include a grass yard and yard in the back filled with wood chips and a eucalyptus grove as well of course as the pond. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.

"This field is huge! My dogs had an amazing time running around and exploring 😍 There is shade under the trees, and the part that wasn't fenced in wasn't an issue for us. If your dogs don't have solid recall, stick to the fenced side. The whole place is so big, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good amount of walking/running in, without coming too close to the un-fenced side. I walked around for about 2 miles, and I'm guessing my dogs probably did twice that 😆 The host was nice and allowed extra time, because I took a wrong turn coming there and was late to my booked time. We will definitely be back."

Hotametaneo’o Ranch is located just 1.5 miles from the CAHUILLA Casino Hotel and Ribbonwood Grill. Currently, we are in our Grand Opening Weekend Phase. A Children’s park is being constructed as an added architectural attraction for families with children and dogs. Also, a Drive-In Theatre is planned. Moreover an outdoor Greek Style Theatre is being constructed for completion before Spring. Each Campground will have a unique theme. For example, “Lion King Campground” has a natural Rock Formation similar to that of the movie Lion King where the Lions look over the valley. A Japanese theme will also be added. Much of the tree are in the rear of the property is being replanted as an Orchard for Apple, Pear, and other trees. Pick your size private dog Park and property location. Remember, first come first serve. Turkey Burgers are available for free. Donations are appreciated. Sodas will be made available as well as “Boxed Water.” The property has an “ artesian well water supply system.” The property is planned to have electricity, water and have multiple outdoor doggie baths before the Holidays in December. Multiple levels of membership exists and SniffSpot is currently our primary outreach App. Founding Partners, Founding Associates, Founding Members, and Founding Bespoke Level Partners are all welcome on the property starting this weekend. Lovely spot with a walking path around the pond!! Our dogs loved getting to dip their toes in and run in the open spaces! Just make sure your dog has good recall because there were cars, kids, and people fishing in the space (completely not an issue for us!).

I thought we were lost but we just had to keep going down a single lane road. Signage was good. Dogs and kid had a great time. We walked around the pond a few times. I forgot a towel and we did end up with 1 wet dog! Humans may want some bug spray, definitely a few mosquitoes around the pond. Great time had by all!!

I’ve always wanted to try this spot out and glad I did. It was super fun and spacious for a recall class I hosted. Parking was available as well as towels for any dogs that went into the pond. I’d say be aware that while dogs were out of sight you could here them and people were present as they also rent out camping spots in the space. Still a great spot.

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
