If your dog is desensitized or has a friend to play with, this probably won’t be an issue for you. We never saw the dogs. We just heard them in the background but my dog tends to be a little hall monitor and gets distracted with dogs barking. Lisa was very communicative and helpful when I expressed my concern and offered suggestions like providing puzzles and high value treats for next time. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
