Welcome to one of Bend's best off-leash play areas: a 1.75-acre pasture that is partially fenced and provides clean canal access right in the middle of the pasture for water breaks (canal is active April-October). Note, this pasture is only fenced on three sides. We welcome for your pup(s) to play alone, or if dog-friendly, play with our 1-yr & 5-yr old Mini Aussie pups (please advise your preference when booking). Our neighbors have goats, horses and chickens nearby, but they are in a fenced area and not directly against our property. Your visit offers perfect space for chuck-it sessions with canal breaks and tons of lush, pasture grass. A poop-scoop and trash bin are provided.

The dogs had a great time exploring this spot! Large area • Ground is a bit dusty and has some holes in it which wasn’t a problem for me and my pups • 1 side of the property is next to a main road and again this wasn’t an issue - my dogs enjoyed running after big trucks and motorcycles • the narrow stream, which runs along 2 sides of the property was a HUGE bonus for my LabX • and lastly, the views of the Cascades were lovely.

Great sized lot with canal on one side for our pups to cool off. Lots of gopher holes so just be cautious if running around, but we had a great time!

My pups and I got there first thing in the morning and the view was stunning. The host was so communicative on the signage and gates, it was very helpful. My pups aren’t escape artists so the lower (still high) fence line was just fine. There were even 2 seats for us to hang out and watch the cars go by. It was lovely. Will visit again!!

Our dogs loved the water flowing through the property and the shade near the water. There was plenty of room for them to run around. Some holes toward the road side of the property but they did not cause any problems for our visit.

Super cute and private big open area! There are some cattle across the street, my dogs reactive to other animals and she did great! Barely even noticed them…she was too busy smelling and running having fun! Will definitely be back!

Amazing! I have a very protective dog, so it’s extremely hard letting him play out side anywhere we go, he usually won’t even leave my side. He’s totally comfortable here as am I. Safe and secure… I don’t have a worry in the world while we’re here playing. I’m so very grateful we found this peaceful place!

Perfect space for what my dogs need! I can *Chuck the ball as far as I can, and they still have plenty of room to chase it! Close to the road, but the fence seems secure enough, and because there’s so much space, they can easily be kept on the other side of the property. Will definitely be bringing our posse here on a regular basis 🤗

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
