Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. A Large professional Obstacle Course with most of the obstacles course pieces seen on U-Tube. Toy stations with a large variety of toys to select from (Please be considerate for the next guest, return them back to the station after use). Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Please take pictures of your beautiful happy dogs and share here! Let's make other dogs and humans know there is a safe place to play! About 3 sides are fenced in and there isn't a lot of traffic on the road. **Please note: the neighbor along the back of the field has a gate that is sometimes open. Their dog cannot get out of their yard because he is on an invisible fence. He is outside about 50% of the time. If your dog is reactive, and does not have good recall, PLEASE stay away from the back corner. I don't want guest dogs entering my neighbors yard and attacking their dog. There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, several nature trails for hiking adventures, and a wetland-like area with a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk over logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over in places, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are two bridges over the creek, and we will be adding one more bridge at the far west end of the spot soon. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit you will see improvements! We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (message us in advance if you need more chairs and we’ll put them out for you), and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. We also provide snacks and beverages for humans and doggos! Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, a round metal table w/umbrella & 4 metal chairs, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is VERY secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We recently added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who visit after dark. They provide subtle light at the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. If you you want to explore the trails after dark we recommend putting a collar light on your dog(s), and that you bring headlamps and flashlights 🔦. ***We recently added a small bridge over the middle section of the creek! The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. PLEASE READ: Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. In most cases It is possible for me to bring my dogs in to avoid distractions in your play time. We hope to see you soon! Theresa

This spot was AMAZING, I wish I could give a 6th star!! The bottom half of the field has a natural spring running through it and was a total mud pit but the dogs had an absolute blast! My little blonde dog was completely filthy by the end of our time slot and if that isn’t the sign of a good visit I don’t know what is! The horses were visible but completely unbothered by my very interested and annoying dogs. Overall a completely amazing time and I can’t wait to visit this spot again!!

Wonderful spot for your furry friends! Rick came out to greet us and was very kid and welcoming. Lynn gave us a quick overview of the space. The dogs loved the open area to run and play. We did not venture into the lower area but Lynn said it's muddy down there. All of the barn smells were thoroughly enjoyed by the pups :)

Great spot to let your dog run and stretch those legs! Its a little muddy right now but I think that made it more fun. So bring some boots. Rick and Lynn are lovely hosts and take the time to say hello and give you a run down of the place. We will be back.

Awesome spot with very kind and welcoming hosts (plus horses)! Has everything you would need, be prepared to give your pup a bath afterwards :) Fencing height varies in some spots but is fully enclosed, our dog was insistent on tearing through all of the brush so just make sure they don't get caught in any thorns!

Great place! The host was very kind to meet us (first timer) when we arrived and showed us around. There were chairs under a pavilion to rest, dog toys (tennis balls, flirt pole), dog first aid kit, waste stations with poop bags, towels to wipe off the dogs. Some spots were muddy but we didn't mind that at all. Our pup had a great time sniffing and running full speed playing hide and seek with us. We will be back to this place!

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
