The yard is .36 acres with a patio in between a large and small grass area. The yard is fully fenced but is currently undergoing small repairs. Small dogs should be watched. There is full shade in the morning, half sun and half shade in the early afternoon and full sun later in the day. The deck has shade from about 3pm on. You may see my neighbor tending to her chickens or chit chatting with the surrounding neighbors. She has a small friendly dog. Seat cushions are in the deck box. There will be a container with items for your use.

There may be some very small gaps (under 4”) under fencing as it was installed this year. We are facing The Great Swamp wildlife refuge with various animals living behind us, so they may be tempted with scents. 😊 While there is secure fencing under the deck, please also do not allow your dog to dig and create gaps, for safety reasons. This is a private home, the bookings are allowing me to recover from this new fence for my greyhound mix. Please be respectful and do not let your dog urinate on the house, deck, deck stairs, etc. This is a beautiful location against the Great Swamp, and I’d like to share it with other four-legged friends. We just moved from nyc to have a yard, so I understand the importance of off-leash freedom! There is a small trash can at end of the carport (near back steps) for potty bags. Please pick up after your dog. We may be home, but we will not bother you. We are located on a dead end, and it is typically very quiet and peaceful here. You are welcome to park in our driveway. Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue has a large fenced in yard that is also used as a training yard for events at the rescue known as The Beacon Training Field. This is a fully fenced in yard with approximately 4 and half foot high fencing. Nice area to privately play ball or let dogs play. All proceeds from the usage of the yard benefit Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue. Please clean up after your dog and keep this area clean for the next person. Please note that this is at our rescue where we do adoption appointments. You may see other dogs in the driveway or walking in and out of our office. Weekends tend to be our busiest time for adoptions and when most people are visiting other areas of the farm.

If your dog is not reactive, or if you are working on reactivity, there is gate that exits out through the other side of our yard and you enter the Wissahickon Trail, you are more than welcome to walk the public trail with your leashed dog!  Also, the patio and chairs is a great spot for people who are working from home. You’re more than welcome to hang out there while your dog get some sniffs and energy out. Phillipsburg Dog Park

Phillipsburg Dog Park, located at 41 Howard St in New Jersey, is a fully fenced enclosure for dogs to play and socialize. The park is open from 8 AM until sunset, and all dogs must have a valid license and park pass. Dogs must be accompanied by an adult, and children under ten are not allowed. There are separate areas for small and large dogs, with limits on the number of dogs per adult. No puppies under four months or dogs in heat are allowed. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. The park does not permit certain types of collars, smoking, food or beverages. Great to get zoomies out before or after a leashed hike or training class in our onsite dog training school. Feel free to stop by Buddy's Boutique after playtime for a doggie snack or new toy. All proceeds go to help homeless animals and low-income pet owners! Message before arrival for the combination to the lock on the gate. (It will be changed regularly.) Suggestion from host--lock the gate when you enter so no passersby enter. People sometimes think this is a public space they can walk into when they see guests inside. PARTY PACKAGES AVAILABLE!
