Silent H Acres In Morganton

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. Fully fenced large field with spring-fed pond. Amateur agility equipment is often present. The fence is 4 ft wire, it is in decent shape but not a fortress.

David's 50 Acre "Let Them Run Free" Private Dog Park near Abingdon

This spot is 50+ acres of open fields and forest, non-residential, with a mountain stream along the western border, and a 1/4 acre farm pond. There are no pets or livestock on the property, so if your dog likes to run free and fast, this is the place for adventure. There are some trails through the woods, seasonal berry picking, a water hydrant with public water, and shelters with an indoor bathroom if needed. The land also hosts our sawmill and lumber kiln as well as a mechanic shop leased to a friend, but most of the land is open for exploration. There is a gravel/dirt road that loops around the property, but is not recommended for low clearance vehicles. Plenty of parking anywhere along the loop. Squirrels and wild rabbits to chase!

Slys Peace Trail

Located in the foothills, the Slys Peace trail was created for dog stimulation. The trail starts at the lower end of the pasture and follows the creek meandering through a rhododendron forest. Situated at the base of 100 acres of wooded ridge land, the hike offers a wilderness experience customized to your comfort zone. There are multiple trails to accommodate your level of exercise. The full experience will require crossing the creek multiple times and is recommended for those with hiking experience. Trails are easy to follow with multiple exits that lead out to the pasture. This is dog heaven. Let your dog be a dog. To locate the gate entrance watch for the Giant metal horse. His nose points the way. Follow the fenceline a few hundred feet where you will find the gate just before the power line easement. There is now a large Sniff Spot sign securely attached.

Redwood Dog Park

Redwood Dog Park in Hudson, North Carolina is a fully fenced enclosure where dogs can play and socialize. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and is free to the public. Rules include leashing dogs upon arrival and departure, no animals other than dogs allowed, and no aggressive or sick dogs permitted. Amenities include agility equipment, chairs, and a field for dogs to roam. Owners must clean up after their dogs, supervise children, and ensure their dogs don't dig holes. If you aren’t ready for a Sniffpass, you can also find me on TheRomeApp *POST HELENE UPDATE 10/13/24* I am so sad to say that the Helene floods have completely destroyed our Sniffspot. We hope to reopen one day but the space will be a completely different place. We are hard at work doing what we can so please check back often. UPDATE 4/11/24* The bugs can get really bad at certain times of year. Mostly gnats around the face and no-see-ums. I do provide bug spray and bug nets that work best when worn with a hat. The worst of the bugs are early spring (April-June). Not fenced but not immediately bordered by anything but forest or field on all sides. The property is 12 acres with mostly open or treed space. There is a small beach area with water calm enough for dogs to swim and fetch sticks. We have picnic tables and chairs that you can use but please pick up after yourself, your dog, and your kids. There is now a trashcan provided on the beach for your convenience. Downstream side of property has an “island” that can be explored. The neighbors property downstream starts shortly free the road narrows between the river and steep bank. It’s usually more overgrown and can visually tell the upkeep is different. Please avoid being on their property. Flood waters make signage difficult to use in this area. Just message me if you need more details on the boundary line.

Off Leash Social

Off Leash Social is an unfenced dog park located at 234 Denny Mill Rd, Johnson City, Tennessee. Dogs must be spayed/neutered, at least 6 months old, registered online with approved vaccination records, and in good health free of ticks and fleas. Rules include no fighting, excessive barking, inciting other dogs, or digging. Only flat-buckle collars or harnesses are allowed. Pitbulls are not allowed. Amenities include dog drinking water and a field. The park is open on specific days with varying hours. Welcome to "Koda's Field Fun" (10+ acres)

Hi there! Our dog, "Koda," enjoys running through our fields and chasing rabbits and deer. I came across Sniffspot by accident and thought what a great idea so others can enjoy our area. I also have two children in college, so an extra revenue stream is nice, too! Basically, you will have access to our yard and the two fields we own. It is unfenced but a very safe area off the main road. Your pup will enjoy running through the fields and chasing wildlife. Koda and i walk it several times a day - it's great to run or walk while getting those steps in! The walking path around the fields is mowed weekly, and the property is indicated by markers. There are woods on one side that your pup will love to explore. Some of the woods are more open for you and your best friend to explore together. There's a remnent of a pond through the woods in one spot that still gets some water sometimes. It's more of a big watering hole or mudhole. So there is a chance your pup might get wet if they explore that area and there'sbeen recent rain. You will almost always see deer while walking the path, especially in the mornings! If you visit during the right months, there are plenty of blackberries outlining the walking path. You're welcome to pick what you want. The fields are planted right now so Koda enjoys running and jumping through the grain (see if you can find the white tail deer in one of my photos!) but at times the fields will be cut shorter. I will always put Koda inside so you can have privacy; however, if you ever want a doggie play date, I'm sure she'd be up to it! As I am a new host, I am still working on creating signs and coming up with more creative ideas so that we can become your favorite Sniffspot! I don't know how popular our spot will be since there is no fencing, but if it is, I am excited to make it bigger and better! I work remotely, so I will put out fresh water for you and your pets to enjoy before your reservation begins.
