A truly beautiful spot! just the right size to keep an eye on your dogs while they run themselves tired. It was a half acre sandy soil riding arena now converted. We’ve planted 3 weeping willow trees and they will grow quickly to provide even more shade to the grassy area. But rest assured, there is tons of shade and trees all about the doggie park and the rest of the property and along with all the trees comes the birds, so constant singing and tweeting…. It’s quite serene. 2/3 (the center of the park) is irrigated grass… we have a large scratching post and sprinklers And or a pool available for hot days. See extras some days you might luck out because if someone else pays to fill the pool, we won’t immediately drain it for a couple days unless someone else purchases the freshwater. So you may have a slightly used pool to use at no charge.. And if you do pay the $11 to fill it fresh.. you feel good that maybe someone else and there doggies will get to enjoy it beyond your use. —- A paw it forward gesture We have a dig site now, featuring both fresh sand and separately a clean dirt mound. We find half of the dogs prefer the sand and the other half prefer the fresh dirt mound. We also have a dry rock River bed featuring a few scarlet sage plants (non toxic aspca) and many of the dogs like to sniff around there and walk over the smooth rocks. We use the perimeter of the park like a walking track to get in our steps, you are welcome to do the same. There are several seating options, very comfortable chairs spaced in a couple areas or even a couple pool style recliners. We have some things that you may want or need to use from time to time such as insect repellent, sunscreen spray, first aid kit, etc There are 2 indestructible tables in the area if you need a place to set your coffee or would like to get some work done We have some Wi-Fi service available via Starlink and seem to maintain speeds around 15-25mbps, which is not so bad for our rural setting. We are actually just a very short distance from Ripon, Manteca and Tracy (off Kasson Rd and Airport) about 7 or 8 minutes into the country from the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca. only about 20 minutes from Modesto via Ripon and Ripon Road / Jack Tone We will continuously improve the park and maintain and upgrade as use allows. *** Our most recent additions include a restroom within the park perimeter and we now offer self-service snacks and drinks via Venmo, PayPal or Cash. 100% of the snack purchase Donations go directly to the PAW it Forward Sanctuary, NON Profit 501c3 Rescue. I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. This place is nice and mostly peaceful. My smallest dog is a bit on the reactive side and the neighbor’s dogs were visible a few times so she had some bark attacks but otherwise it was a fun time. This place is was great for my dog. It’s really spacious so she had a chance to run and sniff around freely. All the vegetation kept the place cool and you could really relax in the shades. I loved it! There was a dog we could hear bark from the house nearby which was a bit triggering for Kimmy but it was a great opportunity for positive reinforcement training. Celebrated my dog's birthday at Miriam's sniffspot. Both dogs had way too much fun. Space was massive, tons of shaded spots and seating area for the humans. The sniffspot is well taken care of. There's a small set of stairs and slope, but my senior pup did not have any issues navigating the area. There were definitely LOTS of sniff spots for the dogs, they had so much fun they were so well rested and slept the rest of the day. I walk my dog on-leash every day but her reactivity to other dogs keeps us out of dog parks where she would have been able to run freely. This sniffspot is a beautiful backyard with several levels for my dog to explore. She had so much fun zooming up and down the garden steps. I highly recommend a visit!

This is the ultimate *big sniffing* Sniffspot! My young dog loved running around and exploring all the levels and also appreciated the very brave tree squirrels that joined us. He found the toy basket & there were tons of huge water bowls for him to choose from. My elderly foster dog was able to navigate the steps and loved slowly ambling and smelling everything. If you have mobility difficulties, please know the spot is accessed via stairs & contains stairs. The host was so welcoming and helpful, and the gardens are shady, gorgeous and full of flowers and fruit. I bet that in springtime it's magical. I'll definitely be back again! Both dogs are fast asleep now and I'm so grateful this beautiful place is shared on Sniffspot!

Our pooch Phoebe had the time of her life at the Quiet garden sanctuary! It's the perfect combination of a lovely peaceful spot in nature with room to roam! What an amazing property ! Lily and Mirium were welcoming and very sweet. Interesting very large backyard on a hill. Several scenic steps to the bottom. My dog loves steps. Toys. Fresh water. Seating for the humans. Shade trees. Cool urban oasis with personality. Wow we will return soon.
