55Very cute and felt very safe. Lots of locks and the fence is reinforced just in case your dog goes looking for weaknesses like mine does. Tons of things to do and free doggy bags!Elizabeth H.

55My Kenzo and Sage had a really fun time here. :)
The made themselves at home right when we entered which was so funny. I also love that it was private, yet you can still somewhat see the people and dogs passing by the street. Very minimal view but also not too secluded. The mini agility course was also so cute. Sage enjoyed them, however, Kenzo was a bit afraid since he is on the bigger side. 😂 Really appreciate the workers here as well. They were really kind and had conversation with me. Would recommend this place and I will be coming back 😊Eli Z.

55Payton’s Playground is a great Sniffspot & conveniently located downtown. The spot is well maintained and I love to see my pup playing with the agility / playground features. For a high-traffic SniffSpot, it always seems very well maintained and clean (no odors or waste) - there are doggy bags provided & discrete trash cans to throw away waste. Also, right in front of the SniffSpot is street parking making it a super convenient spot to visit.Lauren K.

55This place is great. I have a scaredy dog, so its size was perfect. Small enough that she was comfortable to roam since she could still see me but big enough to run around and burn energy. We left as playtime for the boarded dogs was starting, but it was clean and general foot traffic on the sidewalk was limited. We’ll be back! Stacie L.

55The location provided plenty of things to do with our pups. They really enjoyed that there was a little pool for them to splash in to cool off after running around. Plenty of open space and security to let the dogs run around off leash without any worries. There is a CTA train that goes by every once in awhile overhead so if your dog doesn’t like loud noises it could be something that scares them. We throughly enjoyed our visit. AnnaMarie V.

55I have visited Payton’s Playground multiple times with my pup and his friends. We love the cleanliness of the park and in the summer they put out water bowls + a doggy pool so our pups won’t overheat & can enjoy playing in some water ! Lauren K.

55This was our first time using sniff spot and it was a great experience! The process was so seamless. Easy, free parking right in front of the entrance, big yard, fun agility fixtures, etc. I was even able to use the bathroom inside and they let us use a water bowl. Highly recommend!! We will definitely be back.Jackie G.

55It was nice and clean. For awareness, the majority of the fence is covered but if you have a reactive dog there are spots on the fence that you can see the side walk and potentially other dogs. So keep that in mind, otherwise we loved it!Lindsie O.

55This place is great. Clean. Awesome parking right out front. My dog is very noise sensitive so that is the only concern for my specific situation. The train goes by every 10 or so minutes and my little buddy couldn’t handle that unfortunately. The struggle is real with him :). But I highly recommend this place for others! Lisa J.

55A very clean, spacious, and well-maintained space. They had a water bowl, a hose and a pool for the pups to splash around in on a hot day. The fence was completely covered on all sides making it very private. We will definitely be back! Ashley K.

FAQ about our Chicago dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.
How can I find dog agility parks in Chicago?
There are 17 dog agility parks in the Chicago area. The most popular dog agility park is BarkPark. You can browse all of our dog agility parks here.
How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
