55Super place at a great location! Fully fenced in, no gaps and very secure for my pups. Pictures don’t do this field a justice. The hosts are lovely and great with animals. They have farm animals and two super calm dogs on site, which offered great exposure opportunities in a very safe environment for my somewhat-reactive 4 year old pup. My dog got to interact with a cow and a goat for the first time; and left having played with two new dog friends! This isn’t a standard feature of the field, though - we just got lucky on our first visit, but I am sure it can be arranged with the host. The field can be accessed without exposure to the other animals. The host was on site to help and it was an amazing visit. We will definitely be visiting again! Tamara T.

55Very cool spot! Depending on your dog it will be great for different things. There is a chicken coop in the field so I couldn't let my high prey drive dog off leash to run around but we went to do work not run so it was great for us! The coop is fully enclosed and contained with mesh though. There's also a cow and a goat which were moved to a different pen for our visit and were perfect for us to do work with in a safe and controlled way. Ken and Dale are very friendly and lovely hosts! Lots of cow pies and goat poop so if that grosses you out, probably not the spot for you. We will be back! Erin M.

55This is a fabulous spot, so much room for my reactive dog to run around and explore …a big grass field and a little bit of woods. There are dogs outside at the neighbouring kennel but there is a small fenced parcel of land between the sniff spot and the kennel property. My boxer is extremely reactive but the distance is enough that he didn’t feel a need to go there. As stated on the host’s site, the boundary of the sniff spot on that side is barbed wire but she said that this fence will be upgraded to a cattle wire fence.
This is a tremendous spot for exercising your dog(s) and I will definitely be back.Shauna M.

55We have a Mini Aussie Shepherd who is reactive to just about everything! This is a great spot to bring her decompress. Lots of space for her to run, sniff and just be a dog! Sally S.

55Lovely field. My pups enjoyed soft grass under their paws and a safe space to play fetch. The host came to greet us and show us around, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely return here! Tamara T.

55A really nice field. Large wide open space. Our dogs exhausted themselves within 45min. The chairs gave us a nice spot to rest them. There are sections of barbed wire but our dogs never got close to it. You can hear dogs barking and other farm animals but we couldn't see any and our very reactive GSD didn't care about hearing them. Shannon H.

FAQ about our Duncan dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Duncan area range from $6.0 and $6.0. The least expensive dog field is Place to run your dog. The most expensive dog field is Place to run your dog. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
