I loved it! Their area was big with lots of places for my pup to explore, and they even had a little creek where she could splash around and get a drink. Grace was very sweet (with a little surprise that I won't spoil!), and I'll absolutely be back again.

Gorgeous property with plenty of trails and space to explore. My dogs and I had a wonderful morning. We did an hour and a half but easily could have done longer because it was so beautiful and well maintained. Grace, the host, was lovely and the extra surprises were such a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back!

It was amazing! What a cool spot to let your dog run. My dog is a new rescue and this was her 1st time off leash in a large area and I felt pretty confident that she was safely secured if she happened to take off shes about 20lbs. The only spot she could have escaped was under the entrance gate but it leads to another fenced area I just kept her on leash until we went up the big hill they soon forget about the gate. The area gets pretty muddy but not that bad at all, glad I had boots on and towels for afterwards though. I just wish I lived closer I'd visit every weekend, this place is so worth the drive!

Really great spot if your pup loves to sniff, run and splash around like mine does! Grace was so sweet and accommodating. She met us at our car to show us the gate access. She followed all COVID precautions which I appreciated! The trails were easy to navigate through and well maintained. We can’t wait to go back!

Our host met us when we arrived (masked and socially distanced) and showed us where to go. There was a cute sign welcoming us with our names on it. This place is AMAZING! So much room to run and explore, our dogs absolutely loved it!! We will for sure be back! Our host checked in with us when we left to make sure everything went ok, and even left some treats on our car. For sure go check it out!!!

There are some hills to climb and some muddy areas for your dog to play. If your dog likes to be dirty they will! My dog enjoyed himself so much. We will do this one for sure!

Our 3 dogs had a blast again on their second trip here. The property is large and charming with a lot of different spaces — feels like we’re hiking off leash on our own and plenty of room for sniffing, exploring, chasing, and fetch — and Grace as always is so pleasant, gracious, and accommodating while giving our reactive dog his space — always adding nice touches to our trip. Can’t wait to come back!

Another great visit - dogs never want to leave. It’s nice because it’s fenced for goats so I feel good my dogs will stay in, then they just roam, sniff, explore, play fetch. It’s a beautiful place for me to relax too!

The mini forest is an outstanding SniffSpot. Fully fenced with a creek and plenty of room to run around for dogs and their humans. This was our second visit and we will be back for more.

We’ve been a to few SniffSpots and this is by far the best one! It’s huge with so much room for you dog(s) to explore! We hiked all around and absolutely love it! The dogs drank out of the creek. Wow! This place is amazing. A friend recommended it to us a few days ago. We almost cancelled because it was raining a little but decided to just go anyways. The owner is so sweet and greeted us upon getting there. She led us to the gate and pointed out the way to go. This property is a dream. We didn’t let our dog off leash but did bring a long line and let him go explore. If your dog had good recall they would be totally fine running off leash. There is one big hill at the beginning but totally manageable. We put the long line on our dog and let him just run ahead a little so he wouldn’t pull us down. We will definitely be going back! Thank you so much for opening up your place to us! It was so good for our dog and us to get out and not have to worry about other dogs.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.

How can I find dog fields in West Kelowna?

How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?

All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
