Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park The Spot: Over 1 acre of fully fenced (6' chain link) field area with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is a packed sandy soil during the cold weather months and mowed natural vegetation during the warmer months. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. The chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. NOTICE: I share a 300' fence with a neighbor to the west. The neighbor has a new dog that on random occasions has access to this shared fence line. I have installed privacy screening to minimize this distraction. IF YOUR DOG IS HIGHLY REACTIVE, PLEASE DO NOT RESERVE TIME AT MY SNIFFSPOT. Sniffin' Hours are: 9:00 -4:00 every day except for Tuesday, which is field maintenance day, and my dogs do get kind of jealous if they can't use their own dog park. Owning labs for over 20 years, is how we became passionate about opening our pool to other dogs who love to swim! We do keep our pups securely in the house or sometimes leave the house if requested. Also feel free to send messages about off hours as we may approve them if given enough notice. Note: I leave at least 30 minutes between bookings to assure there are no run ins. We have horses for neighbors and great views. Come enjoy some relaxion and wear out your pup at the same time! We keep the hot tub open year-round which can be added as an extra! We are also a Training Facility where people can learn to train their pups! The Canine Lifestyle Center (CLC) A tenth of an acre is perfect for agility or for an indoor place to run and play, away from distractions, and with a private bathroom you won't need to leave the space well here! Training Room West This space is smaller and less private but a great space for those with people loving dogs or those wanting to work on their pup's training privately who may lose focus on you when others are around! Behavior Room This space is a similar size to our Training Room West but is a private space with its own entrance and easy access to the front office if you need to use the bathroom or have a question! This space is climate-controlled and a nice space to play or practice with a small agility course or even introduce your pup to new games such as Nose Work! No One will enter the room you book unless you specifically ask for someone to come in. You will have the space completely to yourself until your booked time is over. Fox Run Dog Park, located at 2110 Stella Dr in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a fully fenced enclosure where handlers are responsible for their dogs' behavior. It is mandatory to clean up after your dog and dispose of waste properly. Runners, bicyclists, and equestrians are not allowed in the dog park for safety reasons. Dogs must be leashed in the parking lot and inside designated off-leash areas. Dog owners must carry a leash at all times, and dogs under 4 months old are not permitted. All dogs must have current inoculations and licenses, be spayed/neutered, and females in heat are prohibited. Aggressive behavior is not allowed. Amenities include a small dog area and a field.
