The 50 acres is mostly timber, with a 7 acre pond that has water in it most of the year. It will dry up on really hot years. I do have chickens and pack goats by the house. But they are inside mesh fencing, so your dogs won’t be able to get to them. The 50 acres is completely fenced with a 3 to 5 strand Barbwire fence. It’s in good shape. It is also the property boundary. So as long as you stay inside of the fence, you will be on the property. There are not a lot of neighbors but the ones I have are nice. When you come up the driveway, you can pass the house and drive up on the hill and Park at the conex container. There is lots of wildlife on the property, and I highly recommend that your dog has some sort of tick repellent, we do have ticks in the spring time. The upper part of the driveway is not graveled, so if there’s melting snow, or a lot of ran, it can get muddy. So be prepared for that. This place is doggie HEAVEN, my pups had a blast! Every part of the property was cleaned and you can see how much thought was put in by the hosts. Each area is an adventure, my pups didn’t know which area to sniff first! The trails are very easy to access and navigate, the signs made it so much easier to know which way you’re going. They also provided toys, insect repellent, chairs, etc. Me and my pups will definitely come back!!!

Great property with hiking trails, a grassy area, and thoughtful additions like tennis balls, throw toys, and even doggy bubbles. Horses on the property, but very easy to avoid if they'd trigger your pups.

Always a wonderful visit. We enjoy exploring at "Club zoomies" and the walk up and back is always nice. There were gunshots in the area this time so we headed down to enjoy s'mores at the firepit instead of exploring more and it was the perfect spring day. Can't wait to visit again.

Great sniff spot. Beautiful woods and our pup zoomed around in club zoomies. We also practiced recall on the DNR trail. If your pup is an escape artist, beware that the area is not fully fenced.

Great spot to hike. As others have said if your dog likes water at all be prepared with towels and maybe a bath when they get home. The dogs and people loved it.

This place is epic! It took us a bit longer to get there than expected but the drive was beautiful. We went on a sunny Easter Sunday and were met with Easter eggs filled with dog treats - so cute! Nice trail leading up to the open area, felt like we were on a hobbit adventure! Signs are everywhere which helped make the adventure more enjoyable. It was peaceful and just what our pups needed. The zoomie area is great with chairs, balls, water and bubbles! If your dog has recall issues wouldn’t recommend off leash since only partially fenced. Could hear dogs and gunshots in the distance but didn’t bother our reactive dogs much since they were busy exploring! Lovely getaway from city apartment life - Can’t wait to come back again - fun for humans and four leggeds!

Such a well-kept, beautiful space to explore trails and play with the pup. We had an awesome time! Everything was well explained. When we first got there and started walking to the Zoomie area 2 German Shepards ran towards us barking, but they were behind a fence, maybe being walked in the adjacent DNR land. Our dog isn't reactive but maybe for those who are, that would have been triggering. Something to keep in mind, there are parts of the property that back up against publicly used land. We would totally come back here any day!

The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I appreciated the signage and postings along the property to let you know where to go / not go. As a city gal, I totally passed up the street to turn on the first time. Oops! The host is really communicative which is always great. I heard a dog bark one time (literally one bark) and I am pretty sure I heard a person say hello - but I called Virgil to me and kept moving. Lots to smell, and is just like a trail except it’s private :) We will definitely make the drive up again some time! Virgil had a blast. We were there about 90 minutes and easily could have spent another hour at least. There were tables and chairs throughout the sniffspot.

This was a perfect spot for our very scent oriented dog. He was non stop for our 1 1/2 hour visit. The combination of old growth forest and meadow, with a stream and pond thrown in, were dog heaven! We appreciated the setting, toys, and the mosquito repellant! Nice touches everywhere. The signage was the best we've seen.

Lovely property with hiking trails. Not strenuous for unseasoned hikers, but the trails go up/down hills and across a creek. There is a dry path over the creek if your dog will follow and not lead. The zoomie area is big enough to run around but maybe not for the chuck it runners. There were a handful of chairs about too. My pup found all the ponds/wet muck spots so bring a towel. Heard some people voices and saw a horse pup was alert to, but all in all pretty quiet. Fun area to explore! Thank you!

Wonderful property for a nice private and secluded hike! We didn't encounter any other people or dogs as expected and got to explore the woods. I didn't let my dog off leash but we still loved it!

Nice secluded trails and an open field area that the owners provide balls and bubbles with a seating area. The owner also had a small campfire going at the entrance that had smores kits on one of the chairs. We will definitely be back.
