55We came to this spot almost a year ago and had a great time, but it’s even better now! They’ve added a gate at the entrance to the main road and gravel walkway leading to the spot, both made it feel safer. Our dogs had a great time again and we will be back! Harmony L.

55Very lovely. My dog was more interested in looking and listening than running, but we’ll be back. There’s so much we didn’t get to explore! Well worth the 40 min drive from South Mercer.
If you’re coming from the 169, you’ll go into a right curve just before the entrance on the left. At the very end of this curve is where they’re located. It’s very easy to miss the turn off. The gate is located about 15 feet away from the roadway and lower than where you’re driving. Tess J.

55Great location! Spot was easy to find and get in/out of. The farm animals are far enough away from the dog area that you can’t see them, and the dog area itself is nice and large for running around. We brought both our pups here for training recall and they had a fun time:) will definitely be back! Pic of our girl with the zoomies☺️Alyssa G.

55Fantastic spot! Entry instructions were very clear. The spot has a stream and a larger area on a hill that’s fun to explore. The spot is entirely fenced in with chicken wire type fencing except for the entry gate which is a cattle gate so it’s technically possible for a smaller dog to slip through if they really wanted to. But that leads to the parking area which is also fenced in (the parking entry gate is not a cattle gate, it’s a real gate), so if a dog got through the cattle gate I don’t think it could get very far? Our dog had no problems with the fencing. The property was great and had trash to dispose of poops, along with provided poop bags if needed. There were sheep, goats, and chickens visible when you enter the parking area and they could be heard from the spot. This wasn’t a problem for us but could be for some dogs. Overall would recommend!Megan S.

55Enjoyed our visit, can’t come as often with my pack with the price increase, but does make for a special treat. Dogs did get tangled up with the chicken wire down by the no trespassing sign by the pond. It is disappointing to not be able to walk the full property now. We don’t like to stand still, prefer to do walking on trails for the full visit. Heather C.

55Best experience ever. This spot is perfect for my sporting breed dogs- Standard Poodle and Lagotto Romagnolo. We enjoyed everything about it - walking/running in the open pastures and trails, exploring the wooded areas and the grade changes going up and down the hills and my Standard Poodle who has extensive experience doing water therapy was able to swim in the creek which is on the property. We have a small fenced in area at our home and I do not let them off leash for walks due to leash laws and safety concerns so they were so happy to be free and I got my steps in too. It was so quiet, peaceful and the air was so fresh and the smell of the trees and nature was invigorating. Will definitely be going back regularly. Tanja E.

55It was great, better than expected even. My dogs had such a great time frolicking around and taking in all the new smells. The land is a great balance of open area and tree lined trails. Can’t wait to go back. Ashley D.

55This was our first visit. The green posts at the driveway were really helpful in locating the property, as was the sign on the gate. Parking and access to the spot were no problem. Once inside the gate, the main path led up to the meadow, a nice open space for zoomies and exploring. A path through trees at the property line circled the meadow. Neighbor houses were visible but not distracting. We did occasionally hear a dog bark. Down by the entrance a trail to the left parallels the creek, which my dog really enjoyed. There were a couple of places on the property marked no trespassing to keep dogs away from areas with barbed wire boundary fencing, with vegetation between us and the fence. We enjoyed a nice mix of places to walk and explore. I appreciated that the host was responsive and instructions clear. Ann J.

55This was an ideal spot for my dog to explore! There's a good-sized area for fetch, but even more bushes and trees for a curious sniffer like my pup. Once we got up the first little hill, there was very little mud. The main area was surprisingly dry even though we've had a fair amount of rain lately! We'll definitely be back.Carly G.

55Nicely maintained area. Some brambles, but mostly cleared. The incline from the parking area to a grassy knoll was great exercise for my pup and me. We went up and down it several times. With all the rain we’ve had i was pleasantly surprised they there really was very little mud. Definitely will return.Kathi I.

55I missed my initial reservation, but rebooked for a few days later.
I am so glad I did because it was absolutely gorgeous. I'm so lucky as a reactive dog owner to have access to stimulating, and engaging environments like this for my pup.
Thank you so much for lending your space it really made our day. We will return frequently!!! <3
There are 2 poop stations, a pond, creek, pasture and hills. Fencing was fine for my dog, but might be a bit light for more persistent dogs.
Thank you again!Sarah L.

FAQ about our Port Orchard dog water parks
Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. You can learn more about safety around water here.
How can I find the best dog water parks in Port Orchard?
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
How much do Sniffspot dog water parks cost?
Dog water parks in the Port Orchard area range from $4.0 and $4.0. The least expensive dog water park is Fenced yard in Gold Bar. The most expensive dog water park is Fenced yard in Gold Bar. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
Can I have an event or party at a dog water park?
If you are planning an amazing dog water park party, each Sniffspot water park has their own rules regarding special events. Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
What are the coolest doggie water features available?
Sniffspot dog water parks can have a variety of features, everything from swimming pools to rivers to beaches to hoses and kiddie pools. If you are dreaming of a curtain of water, water tunnels, a ball pit pool, water slide ball pits, splash pools or other cool features, you can definitely find amazing features at Sniffspot dog water parks. Each water park is different, so check the details of the park to find the incredible dog water park of your dreams.
