55It was so lovely, a good portion of the area was overgrown so we chose to stay away from those spots to reduce risk of ticks and bugs but the property is huge and there's tons of cut areas and safe places to explore. The trees provide alot of shade keeping everything cool and the creek is clean running water. It has a few medium depth spots which was fun for our large dog but alot it's shallow or ankle height so even our small puppy could enjoy the water. It's not too slippery to navigate either. This was our puppies first time with water.. and our old dog is nearing the end so we had the whole family come out and our dogs and my parents dog come. I cannot explain how happy our old girl was. That right there was absolutely priceless to me. A core memory that I'll forever cherish of her happily exploring especially the creek. There was seating around a fire and more up the trails. It was absolutely beautiful. And what I was so shocked about was the lack of bugs. None of us got bit at all and I get bit in my yard and our yard is treated so I thought that was crazy impressive. It was a beautiful day and I'm really happy I live so close!Audra S.

There is a road on the side opposite of the creek not fenced, so just keep in mind if you got a runner. Overall super fun spot, good hilly trails to get some energy out and the creek is fun and calm/shallow enough to not have to worry that much. We also had a visit from the cow neighbors, very polite. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
