Crossing Creeks Dog Park
Welcome to Crossing Creeks Farm, where we are passionate about producing great food for our family's table and yours! Our love for dogs and hosting has lead us to build and open a private dog park right here on our farm. We encourage you to check out our website at www.crossingcreeks.com to learn more about what all we have to offer. Our dog park is just over 1/3 acre and fully fenced for safe off-leash fun! And we've partnered with Wondercide to also provide a safe area with natural treatment for fleas and ticks. Our park includes leash hooks, automatic dog waterer, agility equipment, waste bags, trash can, hand sanitizer, shaded seating area, dog dig pit, and gumball treat dispenser (be sure to bring a quarter or two!). And included with your spot, is the use of our self-serve dog wash. Wondercide has provided their amazing shampoos and flea & tick sprays for your pup(s) to go home feeling fresh and clean. Our on-site Farm Store offers a variety of goodies for both human and four-legged friends. And feel free to enjoy a walk on our walking trails through our woods and creeks. Please keep a leash on your pet(s) while not in the dog park. Shane and I and our two boys, Noah and Caleb live here on the farm, as well as my parents, Reid and Susan. Feel free to ask any of us any questions you may have while on the farm. And shoot us a message if you have any questions before coming out. Some of the other residents of the farm are our chickens, ducks, turkeys, cattle, pigs, and horses-all fully contained in their own fences. We offer horseback riding lessons here as well and host traveling guests through our on-site RV sites and campsite. If you'd like to enjoy a campfire during your visit, add a firewood bundle to your reservation and we'll have everything setup in the park upon your arrival-you just pack the s'mores! Our public restroom is just a short walk across the yard and driveway from the dog park. 10% of all profit will be donated to our local no-kill animal rescue here in Bedford County. We appreciate your support in helping us to give back! If you have more than one dog or are planning a doggy play date or puppy birthday party, enjoy 50% off the hourly rate after the first dog. No extra charges for humans!

Haley's 21 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Wartrace
Beautiful 27-acre property in rural Wartrace with plenty of room for dogs of any size or breed to come play, off or on leash. This is an awesome opportunity for you and your pet to go on the fun-filled, adventure-packed, private field trip you’ve been waiting for! We have a creek and pond on site for the water loving fur babies to use as they please! We ask that you use the second entrance that has a gravel driveway and parking area, rather than the entrance to the main house. There will be signage at the correct entrance. Keep in mind that we have a fence on all sides except along the road. However, our road isn’t very busy, and you will be far enough off the road enough that we do not foresee any problems, as long as your dog doesn’t have a tendency of heading for the hills as soon as they are off leash. Even then, I think there is enough room that any dog will be free to run and play without harm. We have two dogs of our own, so please let me know if you would like me to put them up during your visit. If not, my doggos are friendly and would love to play with your pet(s)! Most of the pets in the pictures provided are of dogs I have watched for friends and family in the past. Oh, and no need to bag poo. 😁

Miles of marked hiking trails, woods and open pasture, a seasonal creek, and getting away from it all while still being close enough...all reserved just for you during your visit! We're honored to host families, friend groups, and hiking buddies who want to enjoy the peacefulness, beauty, and freedom found in adventuring with their pups on private rural land. (**It is up to the dog owner to keep themselves and their dogs on OUR property and not venture into a neighbor's area.**) Towels, water dish, hammock, table and chairs, and trail maps are available at the Welcome Station. A primitive outhouse is available for visitor use and is a little walk from the Welcome Station. Offering Sniffspot allows our family a unique opportunity to share our beautiful property with others. We are very cognizant of the rapid subdividing and development of rural land in Middle Tennessee, and we are hoping to continue offering our property as a peaceful escape to enjoy the beauty of the area. Thanks for your support towards this goal! :) 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦 We are proud of our wild homeplace and love sharing its beauty and peacefulness with others! This property has been in our family since the early 1800s, and in fact, our children are the 8th generation to live in our old farmhouse. :) The portion of the property for our dog guests and their people is 140 acres of beautiful woods and spacious open fields less than an hour from Nashville. This part of the property has several cedar glades, marked hiking trails, karst topography, a seasonal creek, a variety of wildlife, and several benches (one converts to a picnic table) available for guests. We’ve developed and are continually maintaining trails across our property. Some of the trails are wide and open and give you great access to the beautiful pastures. Other trails are narrow and twist through the unendingly interesting woods. All trails have names and are identified with signs and posted maps. The woods trails are also marked with flags and ribbons to help you stay on track. The terrain varies from flat and open to hilly and wooded. If you need the fresh air, chance to recharge, and time to explore as much as your pup, this is the place for you! Our property is unfenced, and there are some neighbor homes near the property lines. It is essential that your dogs stay close to you and don’t bother anything outside our property. Plentiful Hill is a wild place. We aim to make it accessible and enjoyable to visitors, but we ultimately submit to the inescapable power, beauty, and essence of nature. Please anticipate and prepare for normal outdoor issues including bug bites, snake encounters, and severe weather. We work hard to keep paths mowed/accessible during the growing months, but bug spray (with Deet is the most effective) and tick checks are necessary to ensure you and your pups stay happy and healthy. :) ***Because this property has been a farm for more than 200 years, you may find some old implements, trash, and wire fencing left over from all those years ago. Staying on the trails while in the woods is advised. Also, you may hear the occasional gunshot from neighboring properties. That is common down in the country, especially during hunting season from Nov through Jan, and it can be startling. There is no shooting/hunting on our property.*** The Town of Chapel Hill is 10 minutes away and has several Dollar Generals, a small grocery store, several restaurants, a laundry mat, and a few boutique shops...enough to cover any essential needs you have while out visiting this way! We’re less than 30 minutes from Spring Hill and Lewisburg, less than 40 minutes from Franklin, Columbia, and Murfreesboro, and, surprisingly, less than 50 minutes from downtown Nashville. These are difficult times for a lot of folks, and we want our property to be a safe and inviting place for people of all backgrounds and their pets. It's important to us that people of color, those in the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone else who might sometimes feel unwelcomed in outdoor spaces feel especially comfortable and accepted while visiting our place.

Off the beaten path, this spot is great for pups who need a large fenced playland to run and sniff and explore…and for the people who love them. :) Your reservation time includes private use of 5 fenced acres with rolling hills, seasonal views, sun and shade, a variety of natural landscaping, seating, and unlimited opportunities for exciting smells! Finding our tucked-away location, understanding how to access our spot, and following the “poop rules” of our spot require careful reading of (and diligence in following) directions. **DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS** for these are provided after your booking. We have high expectations that our guests will be good partners in keeping our spot a comfortable and safe place to relax for our next visitors. :) 𝐓𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄: 𝟏) This Sniffspot is an off-road adventure! You will be driving on a dirt/gravel path, will park on grass/dirt, and may cross the small creek by foot. Conditions get muddy and access changes during wet weather, so please be prepared to follow posted signage. 𝟐) Access to the property requires unlatching and opening a drive-through gate. 𝟑) Access to the fenced Sniffspot requires parking before a small creek crossing and walking leashed dog over creek and about 500 feet along mowed path OR driving across the creek and parking by Sniffspot gated entrance. The choice is left to visitor discretion, but it is STRONGLY recommended that low-clearance vehicles (sedans, vans, etc) do NOT drive over the creek. They are unlikely to approach you as you enter the spot but may bark from a distance. No dogs aside from visiting dogs will be in the fenced-in spot. Dog barking is audible and dogs are visible while in the spot. 𝟓) There is a marked “creek spot” outside the fenced Sniffspot gate. Feel free to explore this small portion of the seasonal creek with your leashed pup during your reservation! 𝟔) It’s always recommended to walk the perimeter of the fence with your dog leashed when you arrive to ensure no fencing issues. 𝟕) POOP RULES: 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗣 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗦, 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗. (b) If dogs poop INSIDE the fenced spot, use the provided pooper scoopers to toss poop over the fencelines or in the tumblers, 𝐎𝐑 use the 100% compostable green poop bags located in dispensers in the spot to toss poop in the provided compost tumblers.
