PALS Park Lower, is a space we have curated strictly for dogs. This park is the little brother of PALS Park, now PALS Park Upper. This new space is a far more rustic and “bare bones” than PPN. There is fresh water available with bowls, a toy box filled with goodies, a pooper scooper, a poop bag dispenser and trash can. This park is also named after our doggos. Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. We needed an open space with fencing, a relatively quiet area, yet far enough away from residential areas because our dogs bark a bit more than average and we don't want to be a bother to our neighbors.

The Friends Forever Humane Society Dog Park in Freeport, Illinois, is a fully fenced enclosure where dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. We have a large fenced in area and also have a 1 acre field available but is not fenced. We have agility equipment including weaves, jumps, teeters and dog walks, and obedience jumps including broad jump. We also have benches and chairs, treats and toys!! We have pooper scoopers and a trash can. We have a small pool and a larger pool for kids and dogs!!The hose is available if you want it, including dog shampoo and towels. We will have water available if needed but bring your own bowl. We have a long driveway and plenty of parking. Please drive up the driveway and into the parking lot by the gate to enter. We have plenty of sun but also large shade trees! Kids welcome!!
