I have a large backyard that my border collie loves to run around in. Fully fenced. The back end of my yard faces a big lot. One neighbor has a dog that is sometimes out and the dogs will race back-and-forth along the fence line. My dog is not outside dog so I am generally outside with him whenever he’s outside and I sit on the back porch. You can park on the street in front of my house. You would enter the backyard on the left side through the gate. I do not keep it locked, but I do put the carabiner through it so Smart dogs cannot lift up the latch. You are welcome to put your poop bags in my trashcan right there by the entrance to the backyard. Sometimes, if the dogs are lucky, they will be able to chase the bunny or squirrel. They definitely will have birds that they can chase around.

Zoomieland in Downtown Fountain Inn

Zoomieland offers more than an acre of flat, open, fenced-in doggie joy and is spacious enough to reach full-on sprint speeds to get those zoomies out. Located just blocks from the heart of downtown Fountain Inn, including dog friendly places such as The Mill and Voodoo Brewing, and one mile off of 385, Zoomieland offers easy street parking along the fence line, near the rear of the Younts Center and Excel Academy. Entrance is the small gate next to the parking lot. The field features some mature oak and pecan trees around the perimeter. Throughout the day, the shade moves so please feel free to move the chairs to where you and your pups will be happiest. Also, let your dogs get their zoomies out after dark! We have lights? However, please be aware that the field is not lit up with powerful, stadium type lights. It's a soft glow and not all areas of the field are illuminated - areas around the trees have motion-detection lights only and can be a bit dark. However, Zoomieland lends out glow-in-the dark collars, so that you can spot your dogs wherever they go! Just some little warnings: * There are some prickly-type plants in the vegetation - I recommend that people avoid those areas. * Watch your step as the field has some uneven areas and some active ant mounds. * Zoomieland is near train tracks and twice a day a train passes by and is quite loud. * The adjoining parking is usually very quiet but there is a church service on Sundays at 11:20 so expect people walking nearby around 11am and noon-ish. * There is a daycare nearby and throughout weekdays, little ones play outside. * Lastly, there are times when the Younts Center has an event, where there are many people walking by. It's not often but it can happen on the weekends. Also, I'm not a stickler for time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, then stay an extra 10 minutes. If you arrive 5 minutes early, go on in. If you're running late, check with me and I'll let you know if it's okay to stay any later. This sprawling, fully fenced property is perfect for dogs who love to explore. With rolling hills, bumpy terrain, and tons of open space, it’s a sniff-and-sprint paradise! *We are outside the city limits and it is not uncommon to hear hunters nearby shooting* ✅ Fully enclosed with secure fencing ✅ Natural terrain: hilly, bumpy, and tons of sensory enrichment ✅ Water station & shade available inside carport and through trails ✅ Poop bags & trash bin provided Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. At any time, you can request more seating. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport and at the well. Fence: The fence is 3 feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. On other sides we have wire and chain link. Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have not tried to jump it. *There are critters that like to lift up our wire fencing. Just beware if you have a tiny dog.* Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. There have been times that deer will be stuck inside our fencing. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls.
