There are forest trails and trails around our hay fields. **Please note **Our residential areas are off limits, please stick to the trails and blue markers. Please do not enter any of the buildings on our property. When you come up the driveway veer to the right, there is a marked parking spot for you and your pup. Fall, winter and early spring are great months for ball chasers as we have big open fields. Mid spring and summer we have hay growing and ask you and your pups to follow the trails around the hay fields. There are a couple of cows on the neighboring property, this is only for a very small portion on one of the fields.

Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. Spectacular! Such a beautiful property. Trails are well-manicured and partially sodded so not muddy at all despite the fall season. Lots of open space to run around and a private lake to enjoy at the centre, made even more beautiful by the fall colours. Location was very easy to find and the Owner was very responsive. We had a wonderful time. The host greeted us when we arrived and was so kind & welcoming. My parents dogs have never had the opportunity to run freely like they did today. The property is so beautiful & we enjoyed the lake, rivers & trails to the fullest. We look forward to visiting again soon. What a great spot! Nicely maintained main trail around the lake and a number of smaller side trails to explore. My dog had a great time running off into the trees and sniffing so many new sniffs - she even spotted a big deer, which was Very Exciting. If you feel less comfortable with your recall, or just want to be safest, this would also be a great spot for a long line - even the main trail has lots to explore. Felt nicely isolated, too - no sign of any other humans or dogs to startle my girl on our walk. We’ll be back!

Are dog hiking trails safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
