Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Located right off 96th and Ditch, convenient for travelers on I-465, Highway 31, or Michigan Rd. We have no dogs, but do have small children and a cat. This is not a good place for aggressive dogs for this reason, and because our neighbors have a dog (visible through the fence). Guests may park in the horseshoe circle drive in front of the house (please don't block the driveway to the garage) and let themselves into the back yard using the wrought iron gate next to the garage and trash cans.
