The property is a certified wildlife habitat. As your pets play, enjoy birdwatching and sightings of cardinals, woodpeckers, blue jays, bluebirds, hummingbirds, finches, and more. No pesticides or chemicals are used anywhere on the property. Grass is doggy-safe! Only organic cedar mulch with no dyes are present. A bat house installed at the back of the woods helps control mosquitos naturally. Total lot size .67 acres; only the backyard is used for Sniffspot guests. Nearby traffic sounds are possible but not constantly present.

I work at a local shelter and i started this spot to help our shelter dogs who need a break from the shelter, have a place to go enjoy time with their humans besties or dogs who don’t have yards and/or can’t enjoy public dog parks. 2 people per dog max. **if you are interested in buying “farm” fresh chicken eggs please shoot me a message to check availability. $5/dozen** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, NEW tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. We have a 2 acre fenced pasture behind the house. The grass may be long, however, will be occasionally cut so shouldn’t be crazy. Your dog and shoes may get muddy after rainy days. Please plan ahead. The fenced area is entered on the right side of the property through swinging gates. Owners of small dogs may want to be careful near the gates as the openings are large enough for small dogs to get through.
