A small Jon boat with paddle for a pup water tour of the pond. A selection of different size life Jackets for pups and humans. A bulletin board with a sample display of a Blue Green Algae test kit that can be purchased on Amazon’s. An area next to it where guests who do the tests can post the day, time and results for other pup owners to see. An array of pup towels to dry off with and a drying line. A Muddy Paw Spa wash station b4 they get back in the car, multiple large shaded sitting areas. A 10’x 10’ sand filled dig box for the pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who like a good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

This spot has everything! It is such a cool, hidden gem. There are all sorts of little trails, a creek for the dogs to play in (or drink from) and overall tons of space to sniff and play. Also a very well kept bathroom if needed, which we really appreciated since we drove 1+ hour to get to this spot. Very excited to come back in warmer weather with many pups!

Spectacular! Really pretty spot with lots to do. The very top is unfenced but super easy to avoid once you get down the hill. Everywhere else is enclosed by fencing or very thick tall brush so we always feel completely safe and secure here. There are trails and a creek and some large open areas. We come here regularly and Cooper always has a blast!

Love this place! Woodsy and peaceful. We feel very at home here and completely safe. A mixture of groomed and primitive terrain with trails and a creek. Definitely wear boots in the winter, some spots can get muddy in the winter but if you stick to the main areas, it's easy to avoid. Always an awesome adventure!

Lovely place to spend a few hours that has it all - privacy, trails as well as a nice flat area to play ball and a small cabin with a porch on which you can have your lunch will listening to the stream and quiet of nature. Most of the trails are marked with signs and lined with logs to make them easier to follow. Would not recommend the trails for someone with bad knees. They aren't flat. And some areas are pretty muddy at this point. Our dog loves it though and it is a joy to see him be so happy and to be able to run off leash and explore like a dog should. He also loves the creek which is not very deep and has a little bit of a current. We all enjoyed the goats, chickens and cows! Beautiful property, very tranquil. I agree with everyone else - John and Stephanie are very welcoming.

This was a fun spot! Lots to explore. On the way in, we did have to walk through the area that the goats, cows, and chickens are. The dogs didn't seem to mind the first time, but on our way back through they were definitely a bit more fixated. Some of the trails ended with no warning and others looped around. It was quiet and peaceful and one dog enjoyed his dip in the river.

We just visited beautiful Spring Acres with our two older dogs and our new 13 week old puppy. This was my second visit after being introduced to the place by a friend recently. I was determined to return soon with our canine gang! The owner met us upon arrival and kindly oriented us to the area; we then headed off on our own excited to explore! The weather was sunny but cool with scattered snow still on the ground; the creek was running fairly high. Given the delightful layout of the natural wooded property with its trails and little bridges that traverse the hillside, our doggies were able to clamber and explore happily until they were good and tired (and a bit muddy!) The magical trails open up to various level meadows where the dogs could romp and chase each other freely (the snow patches provided a new experience for our pup!). Our hour flew past! We headed home with three tired happy dogs after a delightful time in nature! Thank you!

Another great experience at John’s and Stephanie’s farm. Definitely The Spot for you and your dog if you’re looking for a bit of an adventure out in their beautiful land with streams and creeks and socializing your dogs to their farm animals. Truly couldn’t find a better place to be on our social distancing Thanksgiving day. The pups came back dirty, happy and exhausted. John and Stephanie were also very accommodating; offered us a towel to dry our pups before we leave home and told us where the bathroom is should we need to use it. I am looking forward to another outing at this place next week and bringing my friend and her GSD along.

If I could give this spot more than 5 stars, I would! John and Stephanie are incredibly welcoming and kind hosts and the spot is amazing. Their animals are all so chill and used to dogs, so it was a great chance for my city pups to meet the friendly goats on our way through the pasture to the Sniffspot. The Sniffspot space is truly a wonderland for pups - streams to splash in, wooden bridges, trees and rocks to climb on, open spaces for romping, so many trails to explore, and an adorable cabin where you can relax on the porch for a bit. Come prepared for some mud and slippery bridges if you visit during the rainy season, but it's SO worth it. I recommend booking at least 2 hrs to fully explore all that this spot has to offer. We've been out from West Seattle twice now and will absolutely be back - my dogs lost their minds with excitement when we arrived for our second visit!

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
