Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Lewiston, ME

We absolutely LOVED this spot! It's very secluded and is a beautiful location. It was nice having some seating so we could sit and watch the dogs play. I love that this is off the beaten trail too... If you're looking for something secluded this is a prime spot. A couple of tips: *The dirt road to get in is a little bumpy and if your car is low to the ground you'll have to really take your time and creep along. If you have a truck, crossover or SUV you'll be fine. *When you first turn on the road it's going to look like you're in the wrong spot and you're going to see a beautiful house and no water. BUT just stick to the right and follow the dirt road... You're almost there! *Definitely consider bringing an old pair of sneakers or some water shoes... The first couple steps into the water are rocky. But it's smooth sailing after a few feet. 5 out of 5 stars! This is a GREAT location that is nice and secluded. We ended up booking a couple hours in the evening, grabbing some take out for dinner and eating while watching the sun set and the dogs play. Both my dogs and myself really enjoyed this location and the host was super helpful with directions and recommendations. Come check it out for yourself and beat the heat! 🐾

A little tough to find if you're directionally challenged, but worth it! A total hidden gem in Lewiston. Beautiful secluded little spot, definitely will be returning again, my pups will allow nothing less!

We had the best time! The water was so warm. It’s a bit rocky but it was definitely private and was a great time! Just be careful going down the dirt road if your car is low clearance!

My dogs had a blast! They absolutely love to swim. I'm so happy to have found this spot where both my dogs and I could enjoy the water together! Our time was peaceful, aside from one motor boat on the water, but they stayed respectfully in the middle. I will definitely be returning!

Our boys had so much fun at Mjae’s! It was a great place to swim, secluded and the lake was beautiful. Mjae was responsive when I reached out with a question before our trip. Made some great memories! Thank you!!

My dogs and I had a great time! Wonderful and very private spot. I wasn’t sure I would feel comfortable letting one of my dogs off leash but once I got there I felt totally fine! Perfect place to cool off the pups!

Our pups absolutely loved getting to run around off leash and get some swim time in! We forgot to pack a ball to bring but they had a whole selection of toys to choose from to use. 10 out of 10 recommended and we can’t wait to come back!

This is an amazing spot! Down a dirt road and super secluded. It was the first time the doggies got to swim! This afternoon will never be forgotten by myself, Tucker, Toby and Lil' Bit. Cannot wait to come back!

The spot was perfect and Bella loved it. Noted that the road to the camp may not be suitable for a car right after a heavy rain if it’s muddy but was a non issue for us that day.

great place to take your pups swimming! I would advise a 4 wheel drive vehicle if it has rained recently but thankfully we had our truck

So much fun! My dog loves swimming in the water. Nice spot in a convenient location. There are neighbors but they won’t bother you at all! They do have a dog that is clearly well trained and far enough away to not have to worry about them! We look forward to coming back! Thank you for hosting this :)

Fury has a great time and didn’t want to leave. The dirt road was a little hard to see at first, I thought I had missed it. The stairs down were steep and I was worried Fury wasn’t going to get down. Luckily I noticed a little path next to the stairs and we had no issue until I tried to tell Fury it was time to go home.

Our pup loved it. Super private area- perfect on a sunny day. Waters still a little chilly but we all went swimming anyway. Will definitely be back.

Second time here and it’s still the perfect spot for some lake time. It was quiet and peaceful. My girl didn’t want to truly swim this time, but she still enjoyed getting wet and exploring.

Kilo and Saints are kicking off summer with an epic adventure at their favorite sniff spot! It's always so clean and safe, the perfect place for us to soak up the sun while our dogs have an absolute blast! Let the summer fun begin! 🌞🐾

Great space, on the smaller side of sniff spots we’ve used, but it was enough for us to play fetch without worry. Lots of toys available, water dish, towels, and chairs. There was a neighbor’s dog barking a bit while we were there. It didn’t bother our dog, but it may another visiting dog so wanted to mention the possibilty. The fencing felt secure. I was glad it was on the taller side and you couldn’t see through so there were no visual distractions. Overall we were happy, pup was happy and we will likely book again! Next time hopefully with some add ons.
