We've also added some additional seating on the opposite end so you can enjoy the yard from a different angle! Please see the pics for details :) **UPDATE 8/27/24** We are adding a log stump obstacle course for our furry visitors!!! Right now there are 9 stumps for your pooch to scale and enjoy. (See last picture) Stay tuned, though!! I'll be adding more as the week goes by!! And thanks to a visitors idea, we will also be adding an A-frame within the week!! I have to build it first ;). Stay tuned!! **UPDATE 7/25/24** We now have low-light solar powered lights installed for those who'd like to visit in darker hours!! Though you are encouraged to still bring flashlights:) Welcome to our little Adventure Park for Dogs! We are 100% run by my kids and I :). Please don't hesitate to reach out! As you arrive, you will park alongside our quiet street on graded dirt that may be slightly uneven in certain areas. You are visiting a residential home. You'll enter the property using the smaller, side gate and walk your pet(s) on a leash along the driveway for about 100 yards (past the deck). You reach a small, white gate to the right. Once you pass through this gate and it is properly latched behind you, you may unleash your pet. There are steps down to the play space. **Most of the land your pet will play on is uneven** **Land is always beautiful, but is green from first rain until May or June, then brown during summer until first rain** **We are fellow dog lovers! During your visit, our dogs will be enclosed uphill and away about 60 feet from the main play space, with two layers of vegetation and fences in between. Their enclosure is located on the far side of the home behind a different fence that cuts off the NW corner of the yard (see photos). The SniffSpot area DOES NOT share a fence with our dogs. You may hear a random bark from them, but that's it. Other details: The rental area is to the right of the driveway and is fenced in by a 3ft fence along two sides, and a 4ft chain link fence on the other two sides. The area is about 3/4 acre. It includes plenty of room for your pup to run, jump and play! There are small hills, trees, and huge boulders. Natural lighting only. Under the second deck there are hammock swings guests may use. Please, no pets on swings. Visitors may also utilize the deck closest to the house, but pets must be leashed on the deck, as it overlooks the play space and is not part of the fenced area. We may or may not be home. We do not typically interact with visitors to maximize your privacy, but would love to meet you if requested! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns before/during/after your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out via the communication tool in the app. We very much value your visit and feedback! We hope you enjoy your visit!!

JRB K-9 Training Yard: Private Dog Yard

Rent the fully-fenced JRB K-9 training yard / agility course. In addition, Jesse R. Booker, founder of JRB K-9, is available to offer free training tips during your dog’s play time, if interested. Relax under the shade of our mature oak tree as your dog runs, plays and explores. You’ll also have access to our Wi-Fi and chilled bottled water. We have dog toys and water bowls, all washed and sanitized between guests. You have free use of the agility course to help build your dog’s confidence or for additional mental stimulation. During the summer months, we provide a shallow pool for those water-loving pups. JRB K-9 is a behavioral dog training facility with overnight boarding, so there will be plenty of new smells to stimulate your dog. Dog’s on-site will neither be seen, nor interact with your dog. No training sessions will take place outdoors during your visit. Street parking is available on site and we ask that you pick up after your dog when finished – a trash can is provided. Enter through the front gate and please always make sure the gate is closed and secured after entering, and before your dog is off leash. Thank you!

This is a fun, spacious natural terrain yard with a beautiful view. My large hound had a great time exploring & sniffing everything and chasing the ball up and down the hill. Hosts very friendly, comfy seating for humans, and they had lovely outdoor lighting for dusk. A pooper scooper & bin in the corner of the yard, everything kept tidy. Trampoline that humans are also welcomed to jump on, I've been trying to get my dog on one so that will help. Wait to unleash your dog until you get to the second gate. Long winding steps to the yard, wear sturdy shoes and pay attention.

Great communication from the host. Clear instructions and the space is clean with comfortable seatings and a lot of tennis balls. It’s a nice spot that’s not too far away of a drive. The area is not as big as I imagined it would be but it looks exactly like the photos. It’s perfect for people who don’t have a backyard and don’t want to travel too far or if you want to let your dog explore a new area freely without worrying about off leash dogs. The slope and stairs going down felt pretty steep without handrail or railing so I would be extra careful ( the host did mention the slop on the posting and there is a sign reminding people of it at the gate going down)

What a FANTASTIC experience! I was a bit nervous about trying sniffspot, but this was a great location! I wasn't sure if I should do 30 minutes or an hour but I am so glad I did an hour. Thank you to Cindy and family - such a hospitable space with directions, toys, lighting for dusk (and dark if needed) and the hill was an awesome energy-buster. My dog is a curious explorer and tested all the boundaries but she wasn't able to get out. Thank you! *The picture is of our dog at the end of the time - she had so much fun she didn't want to go home and get into the car!!

Totally loved this spot! Our dog had the best time running around and sniffing everything. Could hear dogs barking in the distance but far away enough that our reactive dog didn’t have any problems with them. We also went when it was dark and they had it all lit up so we could see the entire backyard. We will definitely be coming back!

Everything was exactly as described, including a few additional items. Water in two dog bowls was ready for our arrival, a box of tennis balls for playing fetch, and a container of tug toys which our dog was happy to enjoy. We didn’t have kids with us but if you’re a parent with a dog and kids, the kids would enjoy the space too as there’s a jungle gym type set up with a slide and swings too. There’s also a metal dips/abs workout station. So if you need some fitness yourself while your pup is running around and sniffing, it might work for you! Lastly, Cindy responded quickly to any question we had. Will return again! Lovely view of the canyon behind as well. Cheers.

9.5/10!!! This place was amazing! My dog immediately ran and sniffed everything, he had a blast at this spot. His favorite part was definitely the bin full of balls. At one point he took out so many balls that he forgot which one we were playing with, hilarious! Very friendly and understanding owners. The only complaint I have is the bugs but it's really not that big a deal. We went later in the evening and it was already dark, a couple invisible mosquitos were out and bit me when I took a break to sit down on their comfortable patio furniture. For my dog it was an amazing experience, we booked an hour and the whole time he played, sniffed, ran, and had a great time. We will 100% be back!

This is probably one of our favorite spots. The hill was great for the dogs to run up & down, there were plenty of toys to play with, water bowls & even a little pool with a hose. It was an extra nice touch that towels were provided bc my dogs def got a little muddy. The playground & trampoline setup is amazing & I’ll definitely be back with my kids. Thanks so much again!!!!!
