7 Acre Dog Paradise: Flat, Stream, Hills, Woods.

We own approximately 7 acres in Franklin Park that is mostly flat with some hills. Approximately 3 acres of flat pasture, and 4 acres of woods that circle the property and behind the home. There is a stream that flows through the property which borders the pasture entering the woods and a bridge to cross. Hills naturally fence in the property and will keep your pup safe. There is plenty of room for any dog, kids, and family to play! Feel free to use the hammock and garden table in the woods to relax. Also, your children are welcome to use our Club house/Swing Set, roller coaster, or pretend house at your own risk. Straightfork Farm

Our Sniffspot has been referred to as Dog Heaven. We are in a remote area in the Appalachian Foothills of SE Ohio. We have farm roads, mowed trails and open fields you and your dog can enjoy, but the favorite place for most dogs is our pond. Our pond features a dock that dogs love to jump off of. There is also a large covered pavilion with tables and chairs. A basket of water toys is next to the dock. There is an outhouse there and well, it is primitive, but clean (unless the mice make nests, but I try to keep ahead of that) In dry weather the pond is accessible by vehicle but it is also a good walk for people and dogs, about 1/2 a mile from the parking area (and mostly uphill). This pavilion also has our "Sugar Shack" attached, which is where we boil down maple sap in February and March to make syrup. The Maple Grove is up a trail above the pond. **My dogs swim in this pond most days in the spring, summer & fall. The pond has an aerator and also is treated with Pond Blue, both of which help to eliminate the possibility of dangerous algae blooms. There is also no fertilization of fields that could run off into the pond. **

Woofing Woods

Welcome to Woofing Woods! Located on a quiet road in Harmony Twp/Ambridge (Beaver County, PA), Woofing Woods is about 5.25 acres of my woodland, non-level, unfenced, private property for your pup's enrichment, exercise, and fun! My backyard slopes downhill and becomes wooded. This is where the trail begins! At the bottom you'll find a supply station, and you'll see three main trails to explore. If you explore past the field and cross the stream, the very back of the property levels out and feels very much like a secluded nature park. Please consider whether my spot is a good fit for you and your pup due to the terrain and unfenced aspects of the property. My Sniffspot is also not great for small kids or possibly older joints and bones on pups. If you need or prefer level ground or cement with fencing then we're probably not a great fit!
