We are open to visitors using our 12 acres of open field space, 3 acre pond, almost a half mile of stream, and 3 acres of woods. Trails move you around the pond and up into the woods. There is a lot to do here and a plethora of activities for dogs and humans ranging from open field play and running, hiking, and water activities. Please follow the signs and do not disturb the owners at house. Beach area of pond has seating areas, hammock, and fire pit. There is also a seating area and rope swing. Visitors are not permitted to fish in pond. The Ridge Trail is a bit more difficult for older dogs and humans and/or people not in the best shape to hike. Proceed with caution. 20 acre Island for full run of natural land, in the middle of Licking Creek. Island has a few mowed areas and trails. Great spot to do some training or enjoy some off leash time with your pup. Must keep dog leashed until you ford, on foot, to the Island. Water in creek is usually 8” - 6’+ Summer flow. Off street parking. Location is right next to Camp Harding park, which has restrooms, grills, play equipment and pavilions:)

Welcome to Country Roads Canine Training Center Freedom trial! We are a small training facility with a focus on high quality work. Our trail is partially fenced- the agility area and top trail is fully fenced with the option to visit the stream and rock trail that is undergoing fencing to become fully fenced. The top trail is next to our back yard which means you might see other dogs in the yard- however there is a divider and I am just a message away and can put the training dogs inside with some notice! We may be conducting training in our other front fenced area or inside, please message if you require a totally dog free area and I can make accommodations. Our fence is made up of 4ft Cattle fencing which has smaller gap wire on the bottom and bigger on the top, some areas are fenced with varying sized pallets. The stream trail is fenced on the back area facing our neighbors. You may play in the stream but do not cross it. We are excited to share this space as a trail built JUST for dogs! The trail is jam packed with jumps and natural obstacles that your dog will LOVE! ***VERY IMPORTANT*** Some GPS may take you to Hillbrook INN- do not turn down their drive. Look for South Jefferson Elementary School and Brannon lane is directly across from there. We are the 3rd driveway down that road!

Our beautiful yard on South Mountain is available for rent! Small dogs, large dogs, Easy to locate on Alt rt. 40 in Washington County. Walking distance from the Appalachian Trail. To get to the fully fenced in yard, the driveway is on a steep hill then levels out close to the gate. Come and go as you please. We have a Well spigot for water access in the middle of the yard. The view especially in the Fall when the leaves are at its peak is spectacular. Public restrooms available on the AT only a 30 second drive away.

We are working on possibly getting more things for enrichment for dogs depending how successful this listing happens to be we may work on fencing in the area for more off leash fun. We have a child here of our own so if you have children bring them our daughter loves to play outside. We currently have a above ground swimming pool with a deck but we're not sure if we will be keeping it up. The pool is surrounded by sand. We don't have doggie poop bags but we have store bags we can give you for clean up or we can pick up for you if you let us know where it is at. Our spot is the best of both worlds. We have a 1/4 acre fenced in with a hammock, outdoor couch and trampoline (dog friendly of course), inside of the fenced area there is a water house with water bowl! This fence is also small dog friendly with zero escape points. Our larger area which is partially fenced in the back is surrounded by 60 acres of forest and corn fields. One acre is maintained for great viability and the other has tall grass for your pups that love frolicking! You can find a large sitting area with tons shade, a tree swing, a picnic area, pool which can be used for small to medium dogs (under 30lbs) and fire pit area that is available to use! You will also find sprinklers, a hose and water bowl for use as well and of course tons of amazing smells and lots of wildlife. We also have a peach tree, wild strawberries, raspberries and blueberries that when in season is available for picking as well! The best part, none of the neighbors have dogs! So if your pup needs extra peace and quiet or just has a hard time with other animals, this is your place! If you have any questions or need anything please feel free to reach out.
