This hike is not for everyone as it climbs 200 feet in about 1/4 mile. We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

*Due to the rain and weather the spot os pretty muddy* Are you looking for a nice place to let your furry friend run around and you get some steps in too, well then you are in the right spot. We have an acre fenced that we want dogs to come and enjoy a good run or a fun place to play ball. There is a shelter to stand under if needed with two chairs that can be moved as needed. Most of the area is flat and there are some trees is the back of the property with longer grass. You do have to walk up a little hill to get to the flat part but it is not bad. There is a parking area right outside the man-gate where you enter with a parking sign. We have put a chuck it with balls and a frisbee under the bench lid for you to use as well as weave poles and an adjustable jump for the pups to try out. Everything you need as far as water, water bowl and toys are all under the bench lid by the big tree. *Updated hours: more availability at night but know the mosquitos are bad when the sun goes down so please wear bug spray or use the bug spray provided. *With spring and summer coming more people are out so there may be noise while at the spot, we do have neighbors with kids and dogs. Google Maps will get you lost so once booked I will send directions directly via chat.

The most wonderful place for off leash play!!! FULLY fenced with so many "stations" to explore...pools, agility, tire pyramid, stick library, sandbox and of course LOTS of open space to run! There's a thoughtfully designed covered space with seating ... bring a picnic lunch, play chuck it, throw balls, practice recall with your pup!!! My puppy and I invited a friend who has 2 pups - it was a blast watching 3 corgis play to their hearts' content!!!

Our favorite place for a relaxing dog walk! Kudos to Stephanie and Warren again for providing everything and anything to make an enjoyable “field trip” for our Chancho. It’s the best place to get him out without worrying about other dogs or people. He has a blast sniffing, playing, and relaxing in the pool and is able to do that without being on guard. Stephanie has really thought of everything at this location! My dog and I had a great time! Treats, an area set up to take photos of your pup (fall themed atm), poop scooper, poop bags, toys for the dogs, water and a bowl, first aid kits for dogs and people, bug spray, sanitation wipes, and if you take the time to read the rules in her book on the table it’s pretty funny, Stephanie was very quick to respond and friendly … I’m sure there’s more I forgot to list… my only complaint would be dog poop and I think maybe deer poop? She told me she checked for poop before I arrived, however it’s a decent sized property and she may have had to go to work…. BUT it is not the job of the property owner to clean up after your dog and it’s not the job of the person who comes in after you to clean up after your dog either. “Shit happens” but your dogs poop can make other dogs sick, so be considerate and pick up the poop. Because if there is a single turd in the yard my dog will find it and eat it, even with me watching her like a hawk! Thank you Stephanie for creating such a great place for people to bring their animals, we will definitely be back!

Great time even in the dark! There is a large “street light” in the middle of the field which gives plenty of light to still play fetch. Even though it doesn’t light up the whole space it’s still bigger than my yard. Auggie gets good and tired. I wear a headlamp which is really helpful finding my dog’s poo and if they are roaming in a dark corner I can light them up to see where they are. So don’t be afraid to book a time slot after dark! It’s well worth it.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
