We’re a reactive-dog household ourselves, and we understand how important it is to have a safe, low-stress space for dogs who need a little extra understanding. Our own rescue dog is kept securely inside during all bookings to ensure a quiet, stress-free experience for your visit. Amenities include: * Full 4ft chain link fence around the yard * Access to a hose for water, rinsing paws, or cooling down * A cozy firepit area with chairs for you to relax while your pup plays * Access to dog bags and hand sanitizer Unfortunately due to a work from home lifestyle, we are not able to offer our bathroom during working hours. However if you have special needs please reach out and we will be as accommodating as possible. This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

We have everything to make this experience one for the books and for a dog to have their best time! We have a private entrance through a gate to enter the yard! (Your not allowed inside the house) You can lay in the hammock or sit in the sun on a chair while your dog runs and plays! You can work on confidence building with our little tikes climbers, trampoline or teeter totter (all with grippies on it for traction!). Will your dog bolt through a fence? We have long lines! Dog gets to hot? We have 3 kiddie pools! Also a big bucket for drinking water! Dog takes a big poop? We got scoopers and a bucket (clean up after your dog) Dog gets dirty? We have a small bathing station (holds up to 90lbs) with flea shampoo, brushes, and nail clippers (the water is hose water)!! Get hungry? Eat a crabapple (no litetally) we have 3 trees! Located just off Main Street in Farwell, my fully fenced backyard offers a convenient and secure space for your dog to stretch their legs. The location is less than a five-minute drive from the highways and is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and lakes. If you visit on a Saturday between May and October, you can also enjoy the Farwell farmers market, or catch one of the town’s festivals during major holidays. There are a few takeout options in town, and you’re welcome to use the table and chairs in the backyard to enjoy a meal while your dog explores. Please let me know if you need any accessibility accommodations to make your visit easier.

Come out and enjoy the country air at this rural site South of Ionia minutes from 96 and 66. Bring a chair and enjoy the sun or the shade of the trees. Located adjacent to a working crop and beef farm, this fully fenced half acre yard is a perfect spot to enjoy fresh air, country quiet, and the occasional farm equipment or cattle sightings. Three sides of the yard are 4’ chainlink, the fourth side is livestock fence shared with a cattle pasture that has 8” square openings. If your dog cannot abide the fence with larger openings, please choose a different Sniffspot. Because, we are adjacent to an operating farm, please help us be kind neighbors. Keep dogs on leash until secured within the fence area and if the cattle are nearby, please try to keep barking at the cattle to a minimum. Most people enjoy watching the cattle, especially in the spring with their calves. Also, make sure to park in the designated areas only to keep the main flow clear for farm traffic. We are a new Sniffspot, so we have several amenities we are excited to add, but getting a general feel for interest before further investment.
