No neighbor dogs near. Wide open back of yard. Chicken wire ran along bottom of fencing to keep in the smallest of puppies. The views are gorgeous especially at sunrise. We do treat for fleas & ticks. Back porch has full roof and nice place to get out of sun or just to sit on. We do have a water spicket available spring through fall.

Parr Hill Dog Park in Joplin, Missouri is an unfenced off-leash park for dogs over six months old with current vaccinations. Owners must follow rules and regulations, including supervising children over 12, cleaning up after their pets, and controlling their dog's behavior. Amenities include agility equipment, chairs, and tables. Dogs must be under voice control at all times and owners must carry a leash. Anyone convicted of allowing a dog to bite or attack unprovoked is not allowed. No unspayed or unneutered dogs, females in heat, or dangerous dogs are permitted. Brush Creek Pet Park

12 avail acres...1300ft of creek line, 6 open acres to run (our Great Dane can exhaust himself on 2 full round-trips - it equals nearly a mile on 2 back-and-forth...but my Beagle/Terrier mix can do it 5x over and still go...so...there's that :) ), 120ft high wooded hill overlooking the field and creek, mowed pathway to campsite at Creekside (mowed with a 30ft circular spot), but your choice if you prefer to camp hilltop (unprepared-not mowed...I will guide you there to make sure you know the property boundary) **Depending on weather, the creek may be very low and slow or raging at flood stage...most dogs know better than to get into fast moving water, but it's up to you to make sure they are safe around it. (lifejackets for all sizes of dogs avail but you should bring your own gps tag to put in/on it if you feel it may be wise) There is no clear pathway at the creek, just a path along it's edge that is mostly rock and roots...easy to navigate if you pay attention. Your dog will have no trouble ;) The water is only 12-18 deep in most spots unless it is flooded by rainfall...check with me ahead of time if that's a concern. Fishing is legal with a license but I respect my local Conservation officers and the MDC...and they are welcome here anytime...make sure your "ducks are in a row" before you cast... Beaver, Muskrat, Kingfishers, Darts, Crayfish, Eel, Rockbass, and a general sense of peace exist at this waterline...We have Great Blue Herons nesting in, what else but sycamore trees...DO NOT DISTURB them!!! Grey herons as well but I do not know where they nest. Whitetail deer, turkey, owls, and many species of bird including a variety of endangered species we are trying to encourage. Depending on the season; Scarlet Tanagers, Baltimore Orioles, Wrens, Finches and Buntings of various types, Bald Eagles, Rarely Golden Eagles, MANY Hawks, Buzzards, Cardinal, Junko, Chickadee, Bluebird, Martins, Falcons, and much more... Yes, you can hear the traffic on the highway nearby...but it dulls rapidly esp near the water when it's high and on the hilltop. The creek has a perfect sound when it's running over the rocks!

Located right off interstate 44 and just a little southeast of interstate 49 is a large yard for your furry family members to get out and stretch their legs. Large mowed yard, summer has a kiddy pool, sprinkler, and garden hose. There are also horses on property to watch. For the 2 legged family members, there is a hammock, fire pit, chairs, and then a picnic table coming soon. Just a nice large yard to get the zooming out!!

Lots of room to park. Please pick up after yourself and pet. Bring doggie bags with you. Trash cans available, water available for you and your pet by water hose weather permitting.
