55Great spot. We went early and heard the neighbors but it wasn’t bad. Our dog didn’t seem to mind and continued to run around. Will definitely be back! Great spot.Justin W.

55Nice open space and lots of boulders to climb on for the dogs. My dog had a blast. Lots of toys, water bowls, chairs, and shade to relax while your pup plays. Thanks Katie! Kelsey M.

55This was our first SniffSpot and we are 100% happy and will definitely be coming back! It is on a hill side so both pup and I got a good workout in, but there are flat areas. There is a toy bin in the center and bowls through out so if you forgot any of those, you’re able to use. My pup definitely enjoyed the toys! The chickens mentioned are on the way to the yard, but very well contained and were not distracting at all. We are very happy with this experience and very grateful! Esmeralda P.

55Dali’s Desert Oasis is the most fun our dogs have had in a long time! The small trail down to the play area was a little steep so not necessarily recommended for people with disabilities, but if you don’t mind a little trek it’s ABSOLUTELY worth it. Mia S.

55This is a wonderful spot to take your dog. One of my dogs is super reactive and he never gets to run free. When we unclipped his leash he was so confused and then immediately started to do zoomies. josey m.

55Beautiful location with good resting spot at the top of a hill. Wear shoes with some traction. Very steep hill with no real first surfaces to run around in.Christina H.

55My dogs are in love with this spot. The iceberg plants allow balls to be hidden which exhausts my dog who had a very sharp sense of smell and likes to pick one ball. While there is a cactus plant, it’s easily avoidable. The dogs love to romp through the bushes and will be very tired for the next week for sure. Bring sturdy shoes and be ready for dusty dogs Emely A.

55Our dogs loved it here! They got so much exercise running up and down the hill and climbing all of the rocks. Lots of places to sit for us to watch the dogs and a gorgeous view of Escondido. Plenty of water set out for our dogs!Liz d.

FAQ about our Morongo Valley dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Morongo Valley area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 165 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 18 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby.
