This is a nice long yard - perfect for a tiring session of fetch! Easy to get into, very secure fencing for my escape artist dog. The space was clean, in particular the seating areas were clean and comfortable. Plus, plenty of shade. We'll be back!

Super clean and spacious! There’s a good amount of seating for you to relax and still be able to keep an eye on your doggos from afar. I’d say this spot is pretty good for reactive dogs. You can’t see the neighbors but you can hear them pretty clearly in the backyard, so keep that in mind. I have two reactive doggos and they weren’t bothered by the noise. This is also a great spot for senior dogs with arthritis. One of my dogs doesn’t do well with slopes and this spot is pretty flat, which is perfect. There’s a lot of different ground textures for him to enjoy without having to go over different slopes. Would definitely come again!

Brought a new Berkeley Humane pup, Canin, for his first outing since arriving. He thoroughly enjoyed his time and I don't think there was an inch of the lovely yard that didn't get sniffed!

Wonderful SniffSpot! Well maintained and clean. It is lit after dark, for the winter days when it gets dark earlier. It’s mostly gravel, (which is great for my dog) with some tan bark and stepping stones and outdoor tiles. Thank you!

Nice size yard with plenty of room to run around. Appreciate having access to this yard since there aren’t other options in west Oakland. Also the entry/exit to the backyard is double gated so felt very secure in case a dog tries to escape.

Did a last minute book they were very accommodating and communicative despite lack of overhead time I gave them between my point A to Sniffspot. I arrived 10 mins late. But it took them less than a minute to let me in, even though I hadn’t previously seen the messages asking about arrival due to driving. Space was beautiful, clean and as stated in description. My two large dogs had a great time sniffing and exploring. The space is well maintained and I enjoyed looking at all the foliage and flowers. Would 10/10 recommend a visit here.

Lovely spot! Very quiet other than some birds. Probably not big enough for a dog who likes to run but for my dog, it was perfect since he just likes to sniff and explore. My dog tends to eat everything he can find, so I liked the lack of grass but he did eat some acorns/seeds from the trees. Just mentioning it as a warning but overall great yard.

It was easy to find street parking and our puppy loved the yard! As with any city backyard, you can hear birds and other dogs on the street and neighboring yards but it was a great chance to work on some desensitization. Great amount of shade for humans and dogs in these hot summer days!

Very serene space! There was plenty of shade when I went at 11am and nice spots to sit down. The neighborhood was quiet, we heard some birds chirping but no other sounds or people for the whole hour. The yard was spacious and felt very clean :)

Great location for my two medium dogs to frolic around. The grassy area was great and they enjoyed sniffing around the yard. We didn’t see anyone during our time slot and it was quiet and peaceful. The sniff spot had bags and a water bowl available for usage. The dogs were happy skipping around the yard.
