Besides the essentials, we offer a puppy splash pad, kiddie pool, towels, kibble, and human refreshments upon request. We have two pups of our own, too. They will be secured inside during your visit. Note: they are learning to be desensitized to outside noises, but there may be some barking as they adjust to hosting.

They are building a house ACROSS the street and with nail guns and the like, it can be loud and scary for some dogs. I know my resident dogs don't like to go outside when they're beating and banging and making a lot of noise. So if you have a dog that's sensitive to that .. just letting you know. Welcome to our 1.25-acre fully fenced yard. No frills. This yard is a wonderful place for dogs to play. Enjoy the swing while your pups run and play. Dog bowls up by the garage doors. Newly-planted sod, so please keep your pups from diggin'! There is a wooden rack in between the garage doors which holds the Chuck-it. PLEASE PUT IT BACK ON THE RACK. There are security cameras monitoring the driveway and gate into the property for your protection. Resident dogs cannot be seen from the yard, but will most likely bark when you pull up. Poop bags & balls provided. There is a trash can up by the garage where you can throw the poop bags. We love it here, and we hope you do too. We live on 5.5 wonderful, wooded acres that used to be a working farm with three pastures. The sniff spot is located between the house and the barn in old pasture one. It is fully fenced and wooded, providing shade in summer and exploring options for pups. We also have a tractor trail running past the barn into pastures 2 and 3. You are welcome to walk your dog on the trail. Please note these areas are only partially fenced. We have a barn cat, chickens, and an old hound dog, so please keep your dog under control either with a traditional leash or an e-collar when not in the Sniffspot. Our backyard is fenced for our critters and separate, though visible, from the Sniffspot. Please also note that this is a very rural property. While we work hard to maintain it, we do have bugs, ants, mosquitos, poison ivy (leaves of three let them be), branches that break, squirrels, deer, hawks, etc. Closed-toed shoes are recommended, as is mosquito repellent. We do spray for poison ivy when we find it. We provide chairs, water and sticks for the pups, and a trash can for waste. There is a John Deere windmill at the entrance to our lane. To access the Sniffspot, drive past the house and the quilt shop until you see the fire pit. You can park by the fire pit or the Sniffspot gate. We hope you enjoy your playtime!
