We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the summer you have access to two seating areas including a picnic table, gazebo for shade (seasonally) a 30 foot tether is also available if you would like to have your dog stay beside you while you relax. During the winter, paths are plowed in both yards and in the woods within 3-5 hours of a significant snowfall. Hard packed snow and mild weather can create icy sections on the property, we put down sand and pet safe ice melt on the trails to help. Feel free to contact us for trail conditions before booking. All dog breeds welcome, reactive dogs welcome.

Our field is fully fenced with 6' chain link fence, including a double gate to ensure that no dog can ever escape. Water is available for the dogs, and seating is available under our beautiful trees in the shade for you. As the fall starts to get colder and winter is upon us, we do plan to stay open for the winter. We plan to snowblow parts of the field so that there is a path when the snow gets super deep, and we’ll try to keep the area directly beside the barn clear for you. This is our plan… we’ll see how it works out in reality. :) If you have snowshoes, it may be a good idea to bring them some days depending on how much snowfall we’ll get. Had a great visit with our three pups. This was our first sniff spot and a great experience. The rain cleared as we arrived. They left us some stuff to clean the pups up before getting in the cars. Well fenced. The dogs really enjoyed ripping around the trails. Was perfect to train recall. Good distractions with the chickens added a bit of extra training. Today was our first visit to Oxford Mills. Valeria was very welcome and accomodating and provides a very secure area for my dogs to roam. Water was provided as well as wash station for cleaning their paws before we left. The dogs really enjoyed the fenced forest area where they played chase and hide and seek. This place is so great! Our dogs had a fantastic time and are so tired from running around. The back yard is nice and long for playing with the chuck it or a frisbee and the wooded area was great for sniffing and adventures. Host is great, got everything set up and sent a message the morning of to make sure I knew how to get in etc. and even put out a kiddie pool for the dogs to use because it was so hot. Great space! The little fenced in trail was very fun to explore. I was a little nervous about how my dog would react to the chickens and ducks that are visible from the yard, but it turned out to be a great training opportunity for us and after a couple minutes my pup wasn’t interested in them anymore.

The property is beautifully kept with very easy access. The gates were easy to close/open and to latch/unlatch. The back yard was large, shady and clean. Having access to both a picnic table and a gazebo for the people was a nice touch and having fresh water and a clean bowl for the dogs was also nice. I did not explore “The Woods” because of time but what could see looked nice with well managed trails.

We didn't bring a ball with us because we thought we'd spend all our time in the woods, but I can see that playing fetch in the yard portion would have added to our already excellent experience.
