Plenty of shade from trees and lounge chair seating for the pup’s humans. Please keep in mind: there are a number of stairs to get to the backyard area (see pictures!). The backyard also has levels that are not fenced and there are different types of terrain in the spot (astroturf, rocks, dirt, etc).

Whittier Dog Park is located at 12206 Philadelphia St in Whittier, California. The park is fully fenced and open daily from sunrise to sunset. Dogs must be accompanied by persons 18 or older, and children under 6 are not allowed in the off-leash area. Only 3 dogs are allowed per adult, and female dogs in heat are not permitted. Owners must clean up after their dogs, and no food (for people or canines) or toys (except toss toys) are allowed in the off-leash area. Aggressive dogs are not allowed, and owners are responsible for any injuries caused by their pets.

Homemade human and doggie treats are available most of the time. 🙂 🐾🐾 We do have nighttime lighting and will open a late evening reservation for you upon request. Outward Hound Level One available as an experience during your stay and can be booked as an extra. Doggie Painting (let your pup’s inner Picasso come out!) is also available and can be booked as an extra. Birthday props available to borrow and listed under “extras”.

The David R. Gafin Dog Park in Downey, California is a fully fenced park where dogs must be off-leash. Responsible Persons can have a maximum of two dogs and must clean up after their pets. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. All dogs over four months old must be vaccinated and licensed. Aggressive dogs, sick dogs, and other animals are not allowed.
