I have a fenced yard, with an ornamental iron gate, looking out to the front yard/street, which the dogs love, as well as an ornamental iron “window”, abutting the pool, which allows for a bark-fest with the Corgis next door. I have a large shade-structure umbrella on my upper pool deck, as well as a glider, for owner use. Plenty of sniffing to be had. 2nd time visiting and it was just as nice as last time. Got to enjoy an egg hunt(extra $) with my pup who enjoyed it. The area was super quiet for most of the time and I was able to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. The neighborhood seemed to wake up more around 9 which added some dogs barking but even with the extra noise it’s a nice piece of seclusion.

Secure yard with lots of good spots for my dog to sniff and explore. I also felt safe there as a woman who was alone. I did not bring my little dog (11 pounds) because I wanted to see how secure it was first - I saw only one small spot where she might get through the locked gate at the back, but otherwise I think I’d bring her next time if I had my husband to help keep her from there. Lots of flies and bugs though so bring bug spray (but the host was also super generous and provided some too and had mosquito repellent going!).
