55This was our most enjoyable sniffspot yet! Harold has taken a beautiful space and made it an absolute paradise for dogs and their people. There are so many little hidden treasures that made our adventure spectacular. The trails are well maintained, easy to follow, and clean. The host is gracious and kind, even after I made a scheduling mix up. We will absolutely be back soon. Laurel P.

55This is my favorite Sniffspot to date! We visited after it had rained for 36 hours straight and I was very concerned about bringing home muddy pups, but the trails were dry with almost no mud or puddles. The area is filled with many wide, well marked flat trails with lots of whimsical art to enjoy. There's lots of shade in the summer and cover from the rain in the winter. I'm thinking it would be a great place if you have a dog or human who has a difficult time with hills or uneven surfaces. I will say, I don't recommend here if you have a dog who will out and out run away, or who losses it's marbles around livestock, as you definitely hear livestock and may see some through a wire fence near the parking area.Michelle C.

55It keeps getting better and better each time we go. Owner has done a lot of work to property. It started out great already. We have been going now a few years and really love this place. Michelle I.

55Our young high energy standard poodle loves this Sniffpost. He loves to run on the trails, and play hide and seek with us knowing that no matter which turn he takes eventually he will find us. It is a very warm and welcoming place. Thank you Harold for sharing it with us and our dogs and making it a fun place to explore for humans and dogs alike. Klara H.

55I loved my visit to this place, my dog had a great time. We have a half German half lab who is very athletic and love running, so he end up exhausted and satisfied. After we came back home he took a really long nap. We are planning to add a new pup in the family,so next time will be bringing her as well. Grace, was so amazing, very nice person. Give stars for her!!Veronika S.

55I didn't realize that the host met first-time guests, so I wasn't prepared! She was very kind and took my pup's barking with grace, though. The land is incredible - plenty of space to explore and roam safely. We will be back!Ariel D.

55Been a while since we have been there however our pup loved it and remembered it as we drove up. She loves to run so there is lots of open places as well as fun trail areas to go zoomie on. The whole area seems cleaner and more organized, and I believe there are now two outhouses... one up and one down. Great addition!! Will be back again soon; getting a second pup in the next few weeks and looking forward to introducing him to Sniffspotting too. Thanks you Grace!Bob K.

55Grace was an absolutely wonderful host. The property was fully fenced, with a mixture of trails, woods, meadows, and streams. Great for a short burst of excitement or spending a few hours with more people. The dogs loved it and we’ll be back soon!Bryson W.

55Great spot! Secure fencing and a very accommodating host! My dog did get spooked by gun shots near the end of our time, but that is totally out of control of the host and it was relatively quiet up until the end. Nina H.

FAQ about our Sequim dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
How much do Sniffspot hiking trails cost?
