This Sniffspot was well worth the extra miles to travel to. Grace was a great host and briefly greeted us on arrival and directed us towards the Sniffspot area. The hiking area is so peaceful and full of beautiful nature. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore and my dog was determined to explore every square foot. Best part is you can't even hear the road from deep in the forest! The property also has a couple cabins which you can rent through Hipcamp which I will check out soon for a couple days of rustic solitude in nature. The outhouses was also a nice amentity. We spent some time practicing truffle hunting with scent tins in the back corner by the fence. My pup loved running through the crinkly fall leaves and checking out the creek running through the property. Recommended for humans and pups needing rest in a secluded magical forest. My 85lb pup slept all the way home curled up in a little ball. We will be returning for more sniffing and rustic cabin camping on this location.

This is a great spot for rainy days, with the forest cover and high ground. Now that the creek is flowing the dogs were in scent heaven!

55Gorgeous and fun on a rainy day in winter. My partner and I have been sick with a cold and our one year old German Shepherd was on minimal exercise for almost 2 weeks, so we decided to bring him here and let him run off some pent up energy for about 90 minutes. We strolled through the woods on short looping trails as he dashed around us and splashed in the creek. It's a good size space for dogs who like to sniff and explore but not stray too far from their humans. If your dog is prone to wandering far or chasing wildlife it might not be the best place for them off leash as the fencing would not secure a determined dog. Mine, however, ran face first into the 4 foot high wire grid fence in a fit of euphoria and felt very silly after. He is used to short and flimsy fences and doesn't try to get through them, so it worked fine for us. I imagine it's really lovely in summer, there's even a patio with some chairs for humans to lounge. However this area, and the open spaces that would be good for fetch or chase, are closest to the driveway and closable, but not fully secure for the determined canine, swinging gate. It's about a 50 minute drive from our house in the best of traffic conditions so I don't know how often I'll return, but it's a great spot and I would definitely like to come back when I can.Simon C.

Still my favorite spot around! My doggos love the trails and I never worry they can escape bc the whole area is fenced. We stay up above the house in the maze of trails stopping by the stream for a refresh every so often. Tranquility Trails is private and magical!

We love this spot. Nice trails and a stream to play in. My only recommendation would be to add more obvious/ bright signage on the wire fence by the stream. It's clearly marked for human eyes but multiple dogs we've brought have gone tearing around the corner and run right into it! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful property!

Fantastic sniff spot. We explored all the trails and Doc sniffed all the things. It was great to have fresh water available and we brought some toys. We felt very welcome there and we are already planning to go back!

What a beautiful spot! Easy to find, nice parking, nice amenities. The trails seemed to be less than we were expecting but might just be a winter scenario. This is the most wilderness feel closest to our house so we will definitely be back!

This is our second visit we brought Doc's cousin Bailey. Fun was had by all. Fire going in the fire pit with s'more makings in the box. For those with dogs that get spook with loud noises, we heard gun fire shots in the distance. Doesn't phase my boy, just worth mentioning.

Fun spot for a leashed walk with our reactive dogs. I was afraid to unleash because the space is so large and could hear dogs barking at a distance which concerned us. But it was an interesting spot to explore for a hour. It was clean, had water and trash bins and of course, many delicious smells.

Another great visit to the trails. My girl and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We did hear someone cutting tree limbs? in the forest on a neighboring property and their dog was barking but I was able to just walk down a different trail away from the noise and it was just fine.

Another fun trip to Woodland Trails. This time we met a play date to work on getting along with other dogs and she did great...only barked to say "hey, come on, let's go this way!" So grateful for the space to do this! One note: After all the rains we've had, there were parts that were a little slippery for both the pups and the humans...so take care. 🐾♥️
