55Primo spot, couldn’t be nicer! Easy to find, super secure fencing, water for dogs, water for humans! The little palapas bar was such a nice spot to sit in the shade and the dogs appreciated it too. We live about 25 minutes away but it’s worth the drive.
My dogs were very curious about the pool so it took some work to keep them from trying to taste it :)Emily A.

55My dog loved it. They have a little sand pit type thing with lounge chairs by the pool that was really nice and my dog loved walking on the sand lol. Instructions were helpful, clear and concise. They also set out water in a bowl for my dog which I appreciated a lot because I left her water at home today.Adrianne V.

55LOVED THIS SPACE!! My dogs went wild with the long stretch of land. There was a water bowl, toys and so much space. It had rained and it did not get very muddy which was amazing. Will definitely be back! Tracy C.

55We visited this sniff spot at night. There were not any lights on but we found the plug for the string lights that were under the deck. The yard was dark (as expected) the further away from the deck area the dogs played- we brought a big light so we could see them. The yard is a little sloped, and there are lots of cool areas that have stone borders for the dogs to explore. We first went into the yard from the right side (facing the house) to turn the lights on before bringing the dogs in. The owners have a very sweet cat. He was on the back porch when we arrived. We were a bit worried our dogs would chase him but he followed us out front when we got the dogs out of the car and kept his distance. We had to be a bit careful walking the path next to the deck to get back to the fence to let the dogs in because the path had stones that were not flat but there were leaves over the path so you couldn’t see them. There was a bowl for water and a hose near by to refill it. I didn’t see any poop bags (maybe because it was dark) but there were trash cans outside the fence. I would recommend entering from the left side gate- there’s a nice path there.Andrea C.

55This spot is clean, easy to find, and fully fenced in. We felt like our dogs (Medium- 60ish lbs) were a little too big for the space. But it would be ideal for smaller dogsBelen Y.

55We had a great time at this spot! The yard was lovely, with a bit of a slope, but still plenty of room for the two dogs we brought to run around and explore. We appreciated the bowl and hose for water—such a nice touch! Just a heads up, though—don’t forget to bring some bug spray. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you!Corey J.

55Lots of room to explore. My dogs had a great time although one was a little nervous about the acorns falling from the trees. It was the first time he had experienced that.Sarah L.

FAQ about our Smithfield dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Smithfield area are 5 stars.
