Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. We recommend you bring towels to dry your dog ,bug spray and sunscreen during warmer months. We’d love to welcome you to our place. We used a non-toxic dye in ponds in early March to give shade for the large Koi. It helps protect them from the blue herring until the summer grass comes in. It has almost completely faded, and it’s safe for fish plants, domestic and wildlife just a little heads up. our grandchildren swim in it. So feel safe.

A beautiful property, exactly as described! Our dog loved it and we will absolutely be back soon. This property has large, open fields and a number of wooded trails. Definitely do a tick check before you leave, and watch out for poison oak in the more shaded areas.

Exactly as described, my dog had a great time and definitely got dirty! We needed a bath afterwards and that’s how you know it was a good time! A lot of field to roam and play around in. If you’re not wanting to get dirty I’d stay out of the pond or mud around the creek. But there are so many acres that it shouldn’t be an issue!!! Definitely tick check and wear bug spray. So quiet there I could only hear my echo back!! Can’t wait to go back!

Exactly as described and the perfect place for those pups to run FREE (as long as they have a recall of course and won’t bolt and run) . I considered trying to reschedule because it was storming yesterday but the lightning stopped just in time and we had a blast walking and running through puddles . Your dog will most likely need a bath when they leave but that’s a GOOD THING!!! This is a place where a dog can truly be a dog . Plenty of things to sniff and plenty of room to run . Easy to find, easy access in, was contacted by the host immediately that put us at ease. We had 4 dogs. No worries as far as them getting away or out. Great place to exercise! We did wander into the tree area ... Just be aware there are ticks. Would definitely use again.

Cool spot to let your dogs run around! So much space to explore. We found the pond on our second trip, but did not look like one I wanted to let my dogs swim in right now. Did not matter because we enjoyed walking the trails. Definitely recommend bringing bug spray - I forgot it the first time and had to keep moving or I'd get swarmed. Other than that, really sweet spot! Beautiful sunsets, too!

Had a great afternoon on first time exploration of this expansive jewel of a location. Our two dogs enjoyed their time. It reminds them of hiking trails while camping without distractions and the feeling you are alone in the world. We plan on returning in the fall winter months to exercise. Gumbo’s first sniff spot adventure was a success! Katie was so communicative leading up to our visit and we had no issues with the arrival. Grasses in the main meadow/field are shin-knee high this time of year so wear pants and long socks! There is a nice main trail leading towards the woods that was easy to follow. Found the picnic table and enjoyed roaming through the forested section around there. Eager to go back in wintertime when the grasses are a tad shorter. Wonderful spot with a nice mix of terrain! So quiet and tranquil - our only companions were a couple birds! Thank you!
