This is 40 undeveloped, private wooded acres less than 15 minutes from Bellingham and 10 minutes from Mount Baker Highway. There is a long unpaved road to wander on as you adventure deeper into the property. Trails to come, until then, explore as you wish. Enjoy nature’s agility course by wandering at your will. For Pack (more than 3) Pricing, message us for a bigger discount. In the wet season, there is mud at a few low spots on the back trail. Please consider wearing boots for now.

22+ acre property with 20 acres that is fully/securely fenced. The front half is an open field & orchard, the back is forested and has maintained trails throughout. There's covered seating in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams, ponds in the woods this time of year, plus extra puddles & mud during/after moderate-heavy rain. Foot bridges and woodchips keep the main trails in decent shape for walking but there are plenty of muddy areas to explore so expect a wet, dirty dog - waterproof traction boots (muckboots etc) recommended. There's a dogwash station (elevated, tethers, sidewalls) for faster cleaning that's easy on the back and keeps clothing drier; bring your own towels. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. First time visitors get an auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

I would give this spot 10 stars if I could. What a dream! The host made a cute little sign for us, met us at the gate, and even left us treats after. The property is absolutely beautiful and my dogs had a great time, running up and down the trails, inspecting the cabins, and romping in the stream. They were able to cross the water to get up to the fence where the roosters were crowing, and ended up outside the second gate, but they were still contained. Just an FYI for anyone with high prey drive dogs. This is a top of the line sniff spot. Clean, lots of amenities, lots of sniffs, varied terrain, and FULLY FENCED!! What a delight to be able to let my pups roam freely without fear. We will be back. (Ignore the grouchy dog faces, they smiled the entire time except when I tried to catch it on camera!)

This is a wonderful place for the dogs to run. The hills make it extra fun. My two had a blast. And Grace is a very thoughtful host. There are a couple places where I feel like the fence dips to below 4ft, but this comment is coming from a Rhodesian Ridgeback owner who has to pay extra close attention! For normal dogs, the fence is great - haha

Wow! What a great place! It was everything we were hoping for and so much more! The property is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. This Sniff spot was amazing. The host was great and welcomed me to the front. She even left a goody bag on my truck for when we came back. There is plenty of space for the dogs to run around and I even got a little workout walking up "the hill." I will definitely come back, and I know for a fact my dogs also want to.

What an absolutely wonderful SniffSpot! Grace met us at our car, chatted sweetly with us, and showed us where to go. The property has well mainted and picturesque trails that meander through the mini forest. There is even a stream for the dogs. We were there in the afternoon on an 89° day. There was an abundance of shade and cooler temperatures. Our dogs loved it. The only thing that I would change for next time is to book it for 2 hours. We didn't want to leave and neither did our dogs.

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
