This is truly a private dog park! This fenced area is not connected to my house, nor is it visible from our house windows (only one bathroom window facing that way). It’s also not visible from the road or neighbors. For safety, there are double gates at the entrance. The area is mostly grassy except for a turf covered area that is prone to mud. Basic items are available like a dish for water, towels, a lawn chair, poop bags, a paw cleaner, long lines and a shovel to throw poo in the woods. Also, there are 2 trees for shade, a hose available, a sprinkler and 2 kiddie pools for your use. This area is used for my dog walking business a few hours per week but is available otherwise.

However, if your dog happens to be an enthusiastic jumper, we recommend visiting the Athens Bunker Hill Dog Park, offering an open and adequately fenced space to accommodate their energy. While enjoying the Agility Yard, please note that there’s a road nearby. For your pet’s safety and the safety of others, keep your pet leashed when entering and exiting the yard. The road sees regular foot traffic, with people walking, dog-walking, and cycling. Passersby may pause to admire your training efforts. Respect for the environment is crucial—remember to CLEAN UP after your pet. Doggie bags are conveniently available on the fence, and you can dispose of waste in our designated garbage receptacle. If your pet happens to dig, please fill in any holes they create. To ensure everyone’s safety, please refrain from using any of the equipment; it’s exclusively for animals. We also emphasize the importance of gentle training methods—excessive force will not be tolerated. Most pets are eager learners, so patience is key.
