55Gorgeous new spot with open fields, forest and a pond! My labs of course took me right to it! Lawrence is very accommodating, he explained the whole property and even had a tent, chair and water and bowl for the dogs. Highly recommend this beautiful spot! Jenny S.

55Beautiful little hike in the woods! Great signage made for a relaxing, stress free hike with my pup. The stream running along the entire hike was an added bonus. Nothing better than watching her run free in the woods without a care :)Celia L.

55My dog and I really enjoyed this Sniffspot! To access the parking area you drive down their driveway past their home and barn, cross a small creek, and it is your first right. Drive down a few yards and there is signage on the left that says “trail head parking”. To start the hike is down a long grassed pathway, and once you get into the woods the hike is steep up a mountain. This was a great workout for myself, and my 5 month old German Shepard lab. The trail is well marked with blue paint, and there is a small creek that follows parallels the trail. After about 20 minutes of climbing we were greeted by the sound of running water, and to the right you will find a small waterfall! We traced up and River was more than excited to cool off. It was wonderful! The trail ends once the elevation flattens, and then you walk down. I was able to meet Lynn and her husband and they are very nice people. Lynn teaches dog classes right at her establishment and cares much about canine behavior. I highly recommend this hike!
Lynn also has a separate sniff spot (at the same location just on her home property) that is a big fenced in area with a pool and agility course for pups which River and I are going to next!Nicole G.

55Wonderful!! Two hours was just long enough for us to mosey to the end of the trail and back. We could have spent another hour exploring along the brook. Everything from parking on is very private and visually obscured from the rest of the property. The trail is maintained and a fairly strenuous workout for pups and humans alike. This is a must for all dogs in the area!Jill H.

55My dog enjoyed the hike through the woods tremendously! He was delighted with the chipmunks and other smells he got to track all while being free to adventure off leash. The trail was steep but well marked and so lovely with the fall colorsDawn S.

55Excellent hiking trails and it was the perfect spot for my reactive dogs who don’t normally get to enjoy public hiking trails where there are other dogs and people. It was so peaceful having the entire spot to ourselves! It was a strenuous hike for me and we didn’t make it all the way to the top, but enjoyed spending time by the brook. Lynn was super responsive to my questions too. We are looking forward to visiting again and also utilizing the private dog park and agility course next time! Thank you so much! Carmen G.

55This was a great out and back trail we will definitely come again! The hike is pretty much all uphill so be prepared to climb. When you first get to the trailhead it looks like their are multiple trials but you want to stick right along the water where the reflective red marker is and the blue path will become clear. 10/10 we had a GREAT time! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
